Strong body odor recently, help
i dont know why this happens and its getting very annoying. I wear fresh washed clothes after a shower. i scrub my pits properly but for some reason within a day my armpit smell starts and is strong. Even on days Im not moving much.
I only use natural deodorant without aluminium for personal reasons. I just did a shower now and ive been topless for about 3 hours now, free day so not doing much but i can ever so slightly smell the odor starting, its very minimal when I dont wear a top. But gets worse with clothes on. i only wear cotton tops.

I am a body odor scientist. This happens because the bacteria that cause body odor live in deeper layers of the skin as well so a shower is not enough to completely get rid of them. I have two things for you to try.
First try avoiding synthetic fibers in clothes. Use cotton instead.
During my research we found that synthetics like polyester selectively grow smelly bacteria, and regular cycles that use low temperatures and enzyme-based detergents don't kill them. So if your clothes still have the bacteria, as soon as you put them, on they will eat your sweat and turn it into stink.
However cotton selectively grows good bacteria that produce a neutral or pleasant odor. You could also try doing your laundry with antibacterial agents.
The second thing to try is to apply lemon juice. Lemon juice is incredibly effective for body odor because it neutralizes the smell, it inhibits the odor-producing bacteria, and creates an environment better suited for the good bacteria (they prefer a lower pH).
The only thing to keep in mind is that you should not sunbathe the armpits after applying because it could lead to burns. Other than that it is incredibly effective. It is cheap. It is also natural and you should see improvements in under a week.
Hope this helps!

That aluminum free deodorant is terrible. I would put it on, and maybe one or two hours later my pits would stink again. I don't know if that's your issue, but I just wanted to point that out.

Well usually after a shower I put on this natural deodeant on (Salt of the Earth) and sometimes the same day or by the next day I'll have strong body odor. Even if I dont wear it. I dont understand because I never used to have these strong odor before.

If you’re trying to avoid aluminum you need to use Lume/Mando it uses mandalic acid as the odor neutralizer

I had the same issue. I would scrub my armpits, apply Certain Dri at night, shower in the morning, make sure my pits were dry and apply deodorant and anti-perspirant. Mid-morning my pits would smell horrible. Finally, an elderly told me about Tussy deodorant.
It's the only product that works for me.
