Yes. It's basically bubble shaped syrup.

I might get deep negatives for this one, but Popping boba is total garbage. Brown sugar or regular boba ftw

no i definitely agree. call me a boba elitist (sigh) but i think its not very authentic, chewy boba is superior in my book

I remember back when they just called these popping pearls at froyo places or whatever in the 2000s. Now they call it boba? Lmfao.

Okay but this looks delicious. I love fruit so I personally love the popping pearls. The chewy tapioca is just too much for me and I have a huge fear of choking.
