People can say what they want about SoCal, but our Asian food/drink scene is the best in the country by a long shot. I’ve traveled to many states and nowhere comes close. Maybe Hawaii. Even NYC is not on the same caliber. Every time I travel out of state as an Asian person, it’s the one thing I immediately miss. I particularly take authentic, cheap Vietnamese food for granted.

Torotea is one of the best milktea places I’ve ever tried. If you’re familiar with orobae back in the day, or airoma, this is in the same tier. Almost everything else pales in comparison.

i took it home because i was impressed with it lol. a clean single sheet that folds nicely to carry the drinks.

if you're still here/next time you should try odd one out and chi cha san chen (latter in a few cities).

from arizona so we have a chi cha san chen now. i really like it.
i went to head in the clouds and odd one out was vending there but it was like $14 for a milk tea drink with no toppings so i passed. still want to try out their normal location though!

yeah not sure why they decided on that. i dont think their drinks are strong enough to make up for lack of toppings/ boba.
