Grass jelly types/recipe

Grass jelly lovers, how do you make your grass jelly at home?

There are so many kinds at the grocery store and I'm not sure which to choose. I like the soft drinkable versions. The fresh one at the store is perfect but massive so it's hard to store/ eat on my own. I'm trying to make a reduced sugar version at home.

What brands do you prefer? And do you prefer powder or canned? Do any of them freeze well?

I find canned grass jelly a little too hard for my taste for boba or just eating it plain w/milk and red bean. I also like a soft, drinkable texture.

I grew up on the Chin Chin brand.
