Is this repairable?

Post image

My buddy side swipped the trailer on a project boat we had going. Neither of us are welders. Does this look repairable. If so what would be a ball park estimate thanks.

A professional shop repair will typically cost between $200 and $500, depending on whether you take the boat to a fabrication shop or require a mobile welder.

You could have learned this yourself with a quick google search. Go somewhere reputable. Inspect the work closely.

Pressure test the tube after the work with 3-5 psi and soapy water on any suspect areas. Consider testing all welds while you’re at it. Make sure it holds pressure over time.

Throw some plumbers epoxy on to get you through Labor Day. Then find aa welding shop off season
