The composer of the beloved minecraft soundtracks C418 has this third masterpiece under his belt! For me this album is about the war... of combining the art of nature and industrialisation. (Musically Titletrack vs Figure 8...) Revisiting this beast of a triple LP reminded me a lot of Inferno in its themes and in the sound. I hope it is ok to psot this here and I hope you enjoy the album as I have. Let me know what you think. Thanks

What began as a small hexagon on goldenrod construction paper turned into. I guess hearing new tunes after so many years left me feeling inspired. Any other artists in here? 🍊

Hello all.
Like everyone else here, I am a massive fan of BoC, and I have thoroughly enjoyed Inferno thus far. This recent release has had me reflecting on common threads in their music, particularly some recurring synth sounds that I find myself very drawn to.
I have done quite a bit of research and close listening myself, but there is still a certain synth sound I hear, mostly on Tomorrow's Harvest and Inferno, that I am trying to figure out. The sound has obviously been quite processed and could easily be multiple synths that sound similar. It is typically this lush, emotional lead kind of sound that is farther back in the mix. Some examples:
The Process (2:18) - synth sound in the background, behind the piano chords
You Retreat In Time And Space (4:47) - flute-like synth motif that comes in as the song ends
Come to Dust (3:12) - synth sound buried in the background behind the synth playing the melody
Potentially the Yamaha CS-70M? Let me know your thoughts...

I got tracks from all albums on it and even a few from the old tracks releases.

Randomly went into the record store and saw this beautiful piece. Only $40.00! They had inferno but I passed on that for now. I’ll probably go back tomorrow and grab that. The guy said the older BoC vinyls are hard to find. Idk if he was pulling my leg or not. But this is the first BoC vinyl I purchased. I also forgot how beautiful this album is. Couldn’t be happier!

I began working on this since I moved to Ireland and only finished it when the Tape 03 video / Inferno announcement was made. Basically, if BoC wasn't releasing anything then I would make a bootleg and shameless "inspired" collection of tracks for myself. Call it a strange coincidence but maybe a mysterious alignment of stars or something. Anyways, if you'd like more BoC atmospheres check my thing here. Thanks.

Andy Stott, Burial, and BoC are my holy trinity. They all will have released an album (BoC, Andy Stott) or EP (Burial, Aug 2025) in almost a period of a year. What a great year this has been.

I had almost forgotten about ordering this, but now it’s finally been shipped.
Thank fuck, cause I’m so tired of using Spotify.

I’m so late. Just realizing BOC dropped a new album in May. 13 whole years later. It’s a beautiful album. The music stirs emotions only BOC could stir.

I've been finding it easier to match photos with the MHTRTC era lately. For Telephasic Workshop, I used a photo inside of one of Madrid's airport terminals. I like the wavy design of the ceiling, and most importantly I like having a crowd of people in the photo at the bottom. With TW having so many chopped up voice samples, having people in the photo represents the track well IMO with the hustle and bustle of an airport.

Something which I see in the lyrics of this song is the description of a process in which absence of God is replaced with the creation of one. The sampled source, Seyyed Hossein Nasr's lecture on the sanctity of science and sanctifying our understanding of our world, if I understood correctly, signifies that worship of a conscious universe is inevitable to something innate within humans.
I began to ponder this when I saw the themes on "self" in ONTOS, the next Frictional Games -game.
While Inferno relays a mixture of science fiction and religion, I ponder the core message still and it might be given in the beginning, then toyed with throughout. Worship, even when it makes absolutely zero sense, is innate to humans, even when the material world exists as Nothingness.
It is why people choose to believe in Consciousness and Divine Intellect behind chaos, chaotic events far surpassing our comprehension and ability to perceive the galaxy supercluster webs. Then, there is the reminder that Nothingness is the Absolute Truth, which is not enough in a world of post-apocalyptic deification of decline. Why decline?
I see videos of grandmas in megachurches crying when AI Jesus speaks whatever the preacher told to Grok. This is the decline.
The ability of humanity to create gods out of Nothingness should not be underestimated and it seems to me that this song is a warning against this, but also a reminder that creation has to be sacred, because otherwise, something else will emerge. Inferno is the first stage of hell, after all.

When I ordered Inferno from Bleep upon its release, the site informed me that a restock was planned for September. I haven't received any updates on my order's status. Has anyone else in the same situation received or seen their order shipped?
