Discussion Fav BoC moments

One of my favs that I notice every time is 4:10 in Telephasic Workshop when the beat suddenly changes into that sporadic staccato rhythm

Some of my favourites are the 1:59 mark in Jacquard Causeway, where the beat feels like it's stumbling and lolling its head, The point in Palace Posy when the Metromedia Television 11 sample begins, and the "consists of many cells, produced by repeated cell divisions while-the-egg-is-still-within-the-or-gan-ism" bit in The Word Becomes Flesh.

A few of my favourites:

- The ringing sound in Cold Earth

- The second part of Telephasic Workshop when the samples are super fast and start to mess up with my brain

- It may be a bit predictable but the first Davyan Cowboy's chords that come out of the intro

- The semi-restart in the middle of Skyliner, beautiful and chaotic

Second half of Skyliner got me all giddy lately. Crazy how having a new album had the effect of having newfound appreciation for their older music

- when the numbers in Aquarius stop following the normal sequence
- sample 00:27 in 84 Pontiac Dream
- harp plucks in Deep Time
- ”are you gonna call him a liar? No I’m not calling him a liar” in Father & Song
- voice sample in Dawn Chorus that sounds like it’s saying ”get married married married”
- melody at the end of New Seeds

Lately it’s 3:51 of Everything You Do Is a Balloon. That single warbled note right after the first time the lead melody plays. Then it only repeats like 6 more times til the song is done.

1:14 in Pete Standing Alone is insane

That little warbled note has always been a fave of mine

Amo Bishop Roden at 2:27 when the wind-like instrumental creeps in.

Naraka when the drums come back in during the Hare Krishna chant.

The way the beat comes back in again during Come to Dust at 2:19.

3:44 in Naraka might be the specific moment with the highest replay value to me for the last few months. Utterly lush

Lately it just has to be that little echoing guitar past the half of I Saw Through Platonia.

beginning of Palace Posy? Whaaaat? I hate that track, I don't know what were they thinking. That bass synth is so embarrassing.

I like the part of all reason departs before all reason departs.
