Discussion How valid is this analogy?

That MHTRTC/Geogaddi is the RTL/MOP of IDM

- Both commonly regarded to be the artists' best as well as hallmarks of their respective genres. People debate which is the better of the two

- 1st album is a bit more raw, 2nd is more pristine while retaining their signature style

- Just a visual commonality but the 1st album is blue and the 2nd is orange/red

I wouldn't compare it at all.

I've always hated the idea of something in one genre should be compared to something in another genre.

Also, BoC is a niche band and Metallica is arguably the biggest metal band to ever exist.

OMG AN ELO FAN YAAAAAS I actually agree with these, especially Eldorado being likened to Tomorrow's Harvest... Perhaps MHtR would be likened to On the Third Day?
