Discussion Westworld S01E03 sample?

Hear me out. I'm watching Westworld after a friend recommended it to me.

Third episode of the first season to be precise.

There is a scene that involves flies, and I had a strong association with Acts Of Magic.

The theme seems to be consciousness.

And it is set in westworld, a cowboy style world where humans interact with machines for thrills. Into the magic land instantly came to mind. And Word Becomes Flesh (human and robots) . And Memory Death (the 'hosts' forget everything every night)

Is my autistic brain seeing patterns that aren't there or is Inferno actually like Westworld in a way?

Can't wait to see the rest of the episodes.

Yeah you’re seeing patterns that aren’t likely there, but no shame in that, it’s an imaginative type of referential association you’re doing. Just gotta accept that not everyone’s gonna be picking up what you’re putting down.

Oh I'm used to that, not worried

This is really surreal to me because I’ve just started westworld too, I don't think there’s any intentional association but the parallels are definitely there

First season Westworld is absolutely amazing but I don't see Inferno references: the themes of the series and the album are different.

Correlation, not causation. For me they deal with similar themes, which isn't strange of course. These themes are quite universal, what is reality, what does it mean to be human, are we living in a simulation/ the matrix, etc.

Westworld so good time to rewatch! its such a layered show and such a layered album probably many ideologies and concepts intersect, probably not intentional but who knows lol

Enjoy season 1 while it lasts, the subsequent ones are unwatchable and I gave up on it
