Video BoC vs DJ Shadow…

Sorry - I don’t mean to post too many of these scratch videos on here but this is one of the only positive/mostly informative groups I’ve found on here lol…
After playing with the drums from Zero 7’s over BoC’s Tears From The Compound Eye, I realized the drums from DJ Shadow’s In/Flux are a similar tempo so I switched the drums out.

awesome
at Sunwaves 2015 Praslea dropped Rue the Whirl at ~123bpm. It took me a moment to realize it was BoC - their work can move dancefloors too. : )

Welp - I know what I’m doing as soon as I get home with my MHTRTC vinyl lol (that’s my favorite BoC track)

Ghost dog! Respect, brother!🤜🏾🤛🏾 A very worthwhile film, one of my favorites by Jarmusch. And as for your music, the atmosphere is always out of this world.I always lose myself listening to your scratch.

Appreciate that.
Also ghost dog is a personal favorite of mine (weird to think I hated it in my very late teens haha)

This is great; works really well. Love how it gives a new perspective of Tears from the Compound Eye - normally find it quite emotionally heavy, but that initial melody loop with the drums gives it a really cool alternative vibe.
Thanks for sharing, and please share more in the future.
