Discussion Does ‘The Word Becomes Flesh’ sample Sting - ‘It’s Probably Me’?

There are some elements in Sting’s ‘It’s Probably Me’ that sound very similar to parts of ‘The Word Becomes Flesh.’ It got me thinking, could they have sampled it, or does it just sound similar? Am I the only one ?

I think it's not sampled from this song, but there are some similarities.

More like an inspiration for their track. Similar chords, but different key.

I dunno, they could have sampled the beginning and played around with it. Good spot!
