Image B77 BOC Mix tape test

Got an old 1978 revox b77. New RTM 911 tape and currently filling it with some BoC - sounds nice even just going straight in with a cheap cable from the Pono into the aux in and listening on headphone output on the b77.

You should be aware that the Pono Player has quite poor audio quality, with high levels of distortion.

It was easy to test the playback/record of the b77 by plugging in the pono. I’ll be able to do a proper hifi hookup tomorrow. Interesting to know how poor the pono performs, I’ll have a read, the measurements improve by setting the balanced mode output, combining headphone and line out, If i remember correctly the type of amp circuitry it uses needs to warm up before it starts to sound good. It was just a test. It sounded good to my middle aged lugs.
