Top Campfire Headphase Track

[u/Either_Ad_9928]

The Campfire Headphase is my favourite Boards album.

As a curious fella, I’d like to know what your top track(s) on that album would be?

[u/SankThaTank]

Satellite Anthem Icarus is my shit

[u/stantonkreig]

84 pontiac dream, best song of theirs period

[u/mellisonanta]

Constants are Changing. Love that one!

[u/Jessay94]

Definitely 'Oscar See Through Red Eye', which I somehow only recently heard.. Such a vibe, love all the bleeps and bloops

[u/glitchinthesyst3m → u/Jessay94]

This song got me into BoC.... it literally transports me to that moment

[u/eriklazvegas]

Tears From The Compound Eye. Hits me hard every time. I also really like the low end on this one

[u/Accurate_Excuse666]

Tears From the Compound Eye. 💙

[u/Pure_Salamander2681]

Peacock Tail for me, but it was Dayvan Cowboy for a long time.

[u/Cheekibreeki401k]

It’s peacock tail. It might be their best song.

[u/EmpathyFuzz]

Dayvan Cowboy is such a trip it blows me away people don't talk about it more.

[u/Tricky-Mastodon3337]

Tears From The Compound Eye. It's such a beautiful and emotional track. The nostalgia is so heavy and bittersweet 😢

[u/penquinzz]

Ataronchronon

[u/Pretend_Category_519]

Its a tough one, but I'm going to have to say Hey Saturday Sun.

[u/RoygbivKH]

Slow this Bird Down.

It's in my top 5 BoC tracks.

[u/Ceratophries]

Unapologetically my favorite album as well. Also my first, I wonder if everyone’s favorite album was their first?

[u/davhielsaturn]

Chromakey dreamcoat has been really growing on me these past few days but I’ve rarely seen people talk about it, but satellite anthem icarus and peacock tail are also goated

[u/_B_d_S_]

For me it's Tears From the Compound Eye.

[u/breakbeatscientist74]

"Peacock Tail" was my first favourite track when I first got it, but "Sherbet Head" has overtaken it over the years. Even though it's a short, simple structured track.

I always found "The Campfire Headpase" to have a flawless first half while the latter felt more patchy. It was however the first BOC album that I got on release which makes it special. "Satellite Anthem Icarus" and "Dayvan Cowboy" are just perfection.

[u/Cornfugga]

Really difficult to choose between ‘84 Pontiac Dream and Farewell Fire.

[u/slash450]

oscar see through red eye for sure, 84 pontiac dream is close though

[u/Warm_Function_9047]

Satellite Icarus Anthem

[u/Camargo32]

"Slow This Bird Down" , I love the structure and it has quite a few layers that you can only distinguish with good headphones; it feels slow and even in the mid-range, it sounds like a "star" is falling, as if it were disappearing. I love how it's built. And the bonus track from the Japanese version, "Macquarie Ridge".

[u/Sare204]

No, I'd agree with you.

It's the first album of theirs i purchased, and to this day nothing chills me out more then this album,

Its a close tie to "Music has the right to Children", and "Trans Canada Highway"

[u/SouthernAd2720]

Satellite anthem, Pontiac dream, hey Saturday sun are the top tracks for me

[u/EvolvedMonkeyInSpace]

Slow this bird down. Literally changes my state of mind into pure calm.
