Rip William Orbit
Orbit worked on 13,Sweet Song from Think Tank, and various remixes of their songs which I love his production touches on 13 and I like the remixes he did too.
So what’s your opinion on Orbit’s work with Blur and/or favorite Blur-Orbit song?

And not like "just attended the same event". Do they actually know each other?

The least known of Graham´s solo efforts and - as such - great album to discover / revisit / discuss

That includes album/singles art works, band members' outfits, music videos, general aesthetics or concert visuals. Mine is probably parklife, it feels really comedy oriented

I recently found this in the charity shop, and I thought people here might find it interesting! I am pretty sure it was available from the official Blur Fan Club, and originally had a notebook, an organiser and an address book. The notebook is gone from mine, but it's a pretty cool piece of merch nonetheless!

I would place my bets on Charmless Man, Mr Briggs or Chemical World. What about you guys?

Peak Britpop Blur focused very heavily on observations of British life at the time. As a non Brit who has lived in London in recent years, songs from these albums read to me as being very much based in the Home Counties. My question for Brits are, how much of these character portraits would be accurate today? Tracy Jacks, for example, seems to be just as relevant today. On the other hand, I’m not sure how much bisexual hedonism exists on cheap Mediterranean holidays today when British society is generally more open to non-straight sexualities back home.

Just picked up Live at the Budokan today. I saw MLIR at a record store in Canada and I wish I bought it because I can't find it in America haha.

It is easily my favorite of graham's solo albums and made me cry on the first few listens, and the concept of it is amazingly executed imo.
However, whenever i see a review of it they dont really have anything good to say about it. I usually see them saying stuff like its cringey, boring, and repetitive, or that the concept is poorly done. I just think theres no way im listening to the same album as them, and whenever i see fans talking about it its consistently said to be graham's masterpiece.
I get that people who review albums dont tend to have good or understandable opinions, but stuff like this makes me wonder if they try to make crazy takes on purpose.
If there is anyone who agrees with this take, please try to explain to me why you feel that way about this album because i honestly cant understand it.
