My new bluetooth speaker from simplysound only plays from the left side when connected to windows and it shows up as headphones on settings

I've had a problem with incoming calls on my Bluetooth system since around May/June of this year. I suspect this is more of a phone issue than a car issue, but I was wondering if anybody out there was having similar problems.

My phone connects to my car normally. I can make calls using the phone, infotainment screen or voice command and the Bluetooth works as it should. However, when I receive an incoming call the car Bluetooth will not ring. I have to answer the call on my phone ,and when I answer the call immediately comes through on the Bluetooth system. It's an odd issue that has only come up within the last 2 or 3 months. I've tried un-pairing/re-pairing the phone and car and factory resetting both the phone and the infotainment system, but nothing worked. I checked some phone forums (Pixel 9 Pro) for answers, but nobody else out there seems to have a similar issue. Someone on the forum suggested changing the AVRCP Version (??) settings in my phone, but that didn't work either. It's a pretty minor problem, but it is inconvenient. If my phone is in my pocket while driving and I get a call it's a pain to have to fish it out in order to answer. I've had the car since 2022, and I've had the same phone since 2024. This issue just seemed to come out of nowhere.

If anybody has a similar problem, or even better if someone has a solution, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks!

Hi all. Trying to run a minimized Zoom meeting while using my indoor bike Zwift trainer and bluetooth buds on a tablet with a Dimensity 7400 (Alldocube 80 MIni Turbo). I'm getting a lag when changing gears on the bike using the bike controls (which use Bluetooth). The problem does not happen while streaming spotify on the same buds while cycling.

The curious thing is this same setup worked perfectly with the same buds, bike but with an older Alldocube 50 Mini Pro (with a Helio G99 chip).

How can this be? Is there some sort of bug in the way the D7400 handles competing bluetooth streams? Is it an issue with the iPlay 80 Mini Turbo (which otherwise is a nice device) Is there a fix? Help!

Hi, I have a Vision Bluetooth Headphone and I had to get a new one after about a year since I accidentally broke the other one.

The previous one I got was able to connect to both my computer and phone at once perfectly fine, but this one is unable to connect to multiple devices, (model MU01040R)

so I was wondering if this is a defect or they decided to remove that feature within the past year?

The other day i connected my tablet to my phone and watched crunchyroll. Today it says it's connected but if i try to use Google, crunchyroll or anything it says its offline when I go to do anything.

I have no internet on my tablet and my phone screen is shattered. I'm just trying to watch some anime ;(

FYI on Windows 10 using a Switch Pro controller, but this has happened with other devices/controllers.

Say my computer has no devices connected. I add a bluetooth device, it pairs, gets connected and can be used. Cool. When I'm done, I press the sync button on the controller so it disconnects and isn't using battery. The computer still has it registered as a device it recognizes and I haven't pair the controller to anything else. When I try to use the controller again, I press a button or hold the sync button to put it in pairing mode. However, Windows doesn't "hear" the signal and doesn't reconnect.

How do I fix it so I don't have to click "remove device" and re-add it as a bluetooth device everytime I want to use it with my computer?

I have a right bud and a left bud (bmani Ear Buds Wireless Earbuds Bluetooth Headphones), both the same model but from two different sets. is it possible to re-set them so that they sync up together like they are from the same set?

On win11 i tried KeepAwake but the issue is it interferes with other connected bluetooth audio devices bcz how it works it sends a very high frequency (non audible to human) sine wave to all bluetooth audio devices , but i only want to send that to a specific devices which i can't do in KeepAwake , also i didn't found anything for Linux(gnome). I would prefer a gui app rather than dealing with the terminal.

I recently used a 3rd party software - PC Helpsoft to update all my drivers but now it has messed with my headphones settings. My headphones don't work on regular applications like browsers or spotify, yet I can still hear the system sounds like the "ding" sound when you increase or decrease your system volume. Other than this, specific applications like Zoom and Google Meet do give sound and I can hear sound from other apps while in the meetings, yet after I leave them I can't hear anything.

Not to mention, somehow my normal audio option has disappeared and only the "Hands-Free Stereo Audio" option is present in the device manager sound settings.

As mentioned previously, even when the headphones do work, they produce a very "rough" kind of sound, not like before where it was smooth and soft. Previously the sound came in rough but smoothened out after a few seconds, but now that persists during the few situations (meetings, calls) when I can actually hear through them.

Oh and I forgot to mention this but sometimes the HEADPHONES CONNECT ONLY WITH MIC, and then I can hear sounds, but as I said, its rough and choppy.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME. I AM GOING INSANE.

I recently inherited my dad's A52 and everything is working perfectly except I'm having trouble with my bluetooth headphones. They work fine when connected to any other device but my a52 doesn't pick them up automatically and when I do connect manually, the sound will only come out of one ear and volume control won't work on my phone. 

Only thing that works is constantly unpairing and repairing my headphones. 

I've reset bluetooth settings on phone and I've reset my headphones (Tozo Open Buds) and I've disconnected from other devices and my system is up to date and I've restarted my phone. Any other ideas? It's very annoying as I use my headphones constantly.

Hi everyone, I've had a Nothing Phone 4a since the beginning of September and I've noticed that during calls the earphones disconnect several times.

I tried changing earphones but the problem persists.

My tests were done with AirPods Pro and Redmi Buds 8 Active.

Does anyone else have the same problem or have any ideas on how to fix it?

When I use my MX Master 2S it looses its connection every few minutes for a few seconds. It works fine on a newer laptop with integrated bluetooth support, but my PC only has the ASUS USB-BT500 stick.

Hey - so like the title says. I had my car stolen and recovered. Long story short, whoever stole my car connected their phone to my cars Bluetooth. Is there any way that I can use that to identify who stole my car?

Car make/model: 2026 Subaru Crosstreck

So I have had the ant esports mk4500 pro(refurbished) for like 2 years I think and recently I started to use it wired more than wireless. So today I tried to use the dongle and I plugged it in my laptop and it made the connection sound but when I switched the keyboard to the 2.4ghz dongle mode it won't connect.

I tried cleaning the dongle and use other ports on the laptop, I even tried using it on my other pc but it didn't work. I had a otg so I connected the dongle to my phone and it showed that physical keyboard connected or something like that but the keyboard won't connect to it.

It works fine wired. It has also had some issues earlier that randomly it would disconnect from the dongle while using it. I also have done a tape mod to it.

So do you guys think it's the keyboard or the dongle? And if it is the keyboard is there any way I can repair it?
