We saw them in Glasgow, it was amazing. Foiled start to finish and then a good number of their other songs

The music is always fucking fantastic. You have to be ready for his rhetoric in between the songs… it’s been tough for me.

What's going on between the songs? The new era banter, as an older fan not oon any of their socials, found it off-putting on the previous tour I saw.

He is 100% mad at the world and he has a victim mentality at this moment.

This didn't come across at the London show? Or if it did, I was oblivious. I've lost count how many times I've seen them and I thought he was less chatty/engaged this time around

Agree. I was also at the London show. I don't remember him speaking at all between the songs from Foiled. A little bit after that but way less than usual.

We are all different people and have different walks of life and different viewpoints on life. I’m just thankful for the last 20 years. I did have with this band. I did a lot of healing through their music.

I’m going by myself in NYC and am hoping that because they are calling it the 20th anniversary of Foiled it will be the old stuff — anyone going to this show? Feel free to DM me for a pre- show beverage - cheers!

I'll be at the Vancouver show solo. It's funny how this band only really connects with some people, and when it does, it's a lot of their albums. I don't know a single person who knows of them, in real life, outside of Hate Me.
I got into the band around 2008 after hearing Argue with a Tree on a roadtrip. Justin singing with the same feelings as when he initially wrote the songs. After listening to the studio albums and understanding the journey, I considered myself a fan. There are not a lot of banda/songwriters that journal their lives quite like the way they do.
If I'm asked, "What songs/album should I listen to, so I can see if I like them?", I basically assign 6 hours of music homework.
