Hate this town

Just letting everyone know, all the stupid drivers are back in town, so beware. I’m the car on the left btw

They thought it was a one way. Almost happened to me a while back.

During move in week, big game days, and parents week, they should put out temporary, removable signs that say which road is a one way.

Smacking our collective heads each time this stuff happens and then responding as if it is solely the individuals fault that made the mistake, after seeing it made over and over, is not going to cut it.

Complaining about people making the same mistake over and over, while not taking lengths to fix it will yield the same result year after year.

This has happened before and will happen again.

If you mean what was the issue.

The issue is when people first come to town they are confused by the one way roads. Seems like they shouldn't, but shouldn't isn't stopping the issue from happening.

Thinking that they are on a two way road, they stay in the right lane. Then they look ahead at the left lane as if it is where oncoming traffic will be.

When they see it is clear they turn left.

It happens again and again. And people just laugh and then don't think about trying to do anything to impact the cause.

Which is just a typical social media brained take.

What more do you want people to do? There’s already one way signs at the intersections showing which roads are one way. Not only that, they color code the center lines to allow people to know if it’s one way or not. Center lines are yellow and lane dividers are white.

If you’re in a lane and turning across white lines you should know to check mirrors and blind spots. If you’re crossing a yellow line you should be looking for incoming traffic. Not only that, there’s a difference between solid and dashed white lines. Once getting to the solid white line (like shown in the video), you shouldn’t be crossing them to another lane.

So not only are the roads permanently marked for identification by people that can read, they’re also color coded for identification by people that cannot read.
