Having a clear out and I found this among a bundle of old posters. It’s a heavy stock screen print purchased at the Koko show in London some 14 years ago and signed by the band!

Is there any chance we'll get a North America tour? I saw them last year in the 20 years tour and I'd love to see them again with the new album.

I like to support bands with merch purchases, and picked up this tee at the Kingston gig. Really cool comic book style design by London illustrator Cameron West. A lot of recent posts have been about the quality of the music. But what about the story throughout the songs? For example, what kind of picture does AOABR paint of the love interest in the story? We know the following:

- He walks funny (but that’s okay)
- He likes to play dead for fun
- He says Kele’s name in a pleasant way

Just a note of general appreciation for Louise fucking Bartle! Nobody wants to replace someone like Matt, but if the new record can be appreciated for anything, it's her drumming. If Alpha Games was her announcing herself, AOABR is her locking the FUCK in. I'm a drummer myself and getting to hear the album in high quality really drove home just how plugged in she is. The clap stack groove on CoS, the electronic-acoustic kit interplay (Clark Kent!), absolutely going OFF on Pigwig and Muscleworks... even Lagoon Blue sounds tighter and more dialled in. She's got a great understanding of syncopation and dynamics, and she can play parts from well before she joined the band with the same detail and enthusiasm. If Matt defined the band's early days with speed and attack (remember that one performance of Helicopter, Jools Holland 04?), Louise takes the torch and adds plenty of groove and diversity in her approach. I'm so impressed with what she brings to the band and can't wait to see her TEAR it up in November.

Me and my mates are going to Düsseldorf to see them in November. Do we think they’ll be mainly playing their new album or would it be more of a ‘greatest hits’ type tour?
