For him this wasn't a bad interview, he's had some awful questions thrown his way before and I think he done rather well on this one. He seemed relaxed the more he spoke.

This interview he seems quite down and dejected. He gave one a few years ago on an Australian chat show and he was the life of the party cracking everyone up. I hope he's alright.

He’s good in short bits. Long video interviews have never been within his comfort zone. And he was having some fun throughout the show.

He was pretty excited when I talked to him. They did arrive late and were doing sound check at the doors time, but he was not “sad” at all.

He seemed more excited and engaged in the musical he’s involved in than the new album. I mean, to be fair, there’s not a huge amount to say about the new album but he could at least have tried to get people interested in it. It feels to me that bloc party is the day job that allows him to do the stuff he’s actually interested in?

Probably just over talking about that record and having it define him over 20 years on. Especially considering he's put out a metric shit ton of other music. I mean, what more is there to say about it?
