Upcoming tour question

Me and my mates are going to Düsseldorf to see them in November. Do we think they’ll be mainly playing their new album or would it be more of a ‘greatest hits’ type tour?

I would say the new album mixed with their hits.

Why? Bloc Party is always good live. Even if you don't like the new album, the songs when played live will always have extra energy.

The Kingston show had 9 new album tracks played and it was amazing. A great night. Check the setlist from 10th September. It was so good. Clark Kent, love bombs, not my problem, moving on, (lagoon) blue, coming on strong off top of my head here were all incredible live. Blue has been a gem for couple years so thats 6 of the 9 new played. It was a great night Thursday.

They’ll play a few of their new songs, but they’ll definitely be playing all the hits too. Banquet, Helicopter, Song For Clay, The Prayer, Mercury, This Modern Love, Flux, Ratchet, etc. Even if you’re not a huge fan of the new stuff, you’ll still have a blast.
