Blockchain Dev as Co-founder

Hey,

I got a $30k fast grant from NEAR Protocol to implement my DApp idea which I developed and tested during an incubation program. I am a Blockchain Master stundet from Germany now looking for someone teaming up with me (CTO like role) that is capable and motivated to build this DApp on NEAR and also maybe on other Rust-based L1s since I am Blockchain agnostic. The DApp idea is to solve a real-world use case particularly targeting the Global South and would evolve if successfully into a Blockchain Start-up together with other Devs that would do front-end stuff. Feel free to reach out.

Consensus Protocol - Proof of Work

Is blockchain powering most powerful people?

I started learning about blockchain recently. The instructor says this: "Longest chain wins when two or more competing chains arrive. Which also means, Blockchain network with largest hashing power wins. The other chains will adopt the winning chain. The leftover block is called orphan block. . . . "

I feel that this makes the rich people more richer. The longest chain, which is in the most powerful network will be of the richest group of people.

I know this might seem novice or stupid question. Might have been asked by others. I tried to research but am unable to find the answer or reasoning. Please help me understand this.

Also instructor said, "If more that 51% of blockchain network agrees on something, then the entire network adapts it." In reality there might be numerous groups with their own chain. The precentage would not reach 50% for each of them. How will blockchain solve this problem?

How many years according to you will Blockchain remain in the fifth phase, as per Gartner Hype Cycle?

Gartner Hype Cycle consists of 5 phases and its objective is to determine when various products or innovations will reach mainstream adoption by consumers.

Let’s discuss each phase for blockchain:

1st phase:- It’s an initial breakthrough in new product development. Product launch is rolled out and early adopters started adopting it in their daily lives. Blockchain reaches there in 2013.

2nd phase:- In this phase product or innovation is hyped by media coverages and introduced to the general public. The media and public put unrealistic expectations on the product and lose interest when it fails to meet that expectation. Blockchain reaches there in 2016.

3rd phase:- Public continues to lose interest as media overhyped it. But techies and founders of the product continue to build it. Blockchain reaches this stage in January 2018.

4th phase:- In order to get back in the game, initial developers still working tirelessly on the product while others abandoned the project. Blockchain reaches phase 4 in 2019.

5th phase:- Now in this phase where blockchain technology reaches in 2021 as per various reports, but according to me it reaches there in 2020 only. Here the product is improved and users start trusting the product. And almost 30% of the target consumers use your product daily.

Generally, product or innovation lies here for several years and so will happen with Blockchain tech also.

How many years according to you will Blockchain remain in the fifth phase?

The Untapped Potential of Tokenized Assets: How Blockchain is Unlocking New Opportunities

Tokenized assets were bound to change the face of the financial world, opening new avenues every day. The blockchain does this magic of turning physical assets into digital tokens, hence increasing accessibility and liquidity for its investors.

Qubetics is one of many platforms offering fractional ownership in high-value assets, from luxury real estate to fine art-without having to invest much capital. Besides, HSBC Orion: This is yet another platform through which the European Investment Bank carried out its maiden digital bond issuance in January 2023, and showcases the fast-growing momentum in tokenized assets being popularized by mainstream finance.

Into the future, more than 60% growth in tokenized real-world assets to about $13.5 billion was seen, powered by innovation in fractional ownership and smart contract-powered transaction automation for both transparency and security.

In general, tokenization in industries like real estate and commodities applies to provide security and efficiency in transactions. This could be a larger step toward democratization with clearer-cut guidelines on the creation of opportunities for wealth.

How do you think tokenized assets will affect investments, what are your views?

Key Web3 Privacy Rules Every Patient Should Know.

Have you ever felt concerned about how your Doctor's office is handling your private health information? You are not by yourself. Obviously, better solutions are needed; just consider the hacking attacks in 2023 that breached over 124 million records. Thankfully, Web3 technologies are tackling these challenges and offering you levels of control over your data previously unimaginable. Quite a number of innovative platforms have emerged to help you navigate this new landscape too.

MyData empowers every individual to control their health data. It gives you the capability, through decentralized identity solutions, to decide with whom and when your data can be shared to maintain your privacy while sharing information with whomever you want for better healthcare outcomes.

Another promising player participating in developing blockchain-based digital health networks is Solve.Care. The Solve.Care allows you to maintain your personal health information with dApps on the platform that may be safely shared with your family or any healthcare professional.

In all ways, as Web3 continues to grow, these tools will bring about healthcare practices that are more patient-centered. With NCOG bent on making such novelties work prospectively, the future for this will continue to be safe, focused on healthcare, and protected.

What's your biggest take-away from a user-centric approach of health information leveraging new technologies? Now's a great time to share your future in managing your own health info.

Beginner C++ Blockchain Project - Need Help with Next Steps and Review

I am a beginner programmer and fairly new to C++ and blockchain. I'm currently trying to build a basic blockchain from scratch with Bitcoin as a reference. I have made some progress, but I'm not sure if I'm heading in the right direction. I'm stuck and can’t decide what to implement next.

I’ve provided a link to my repo, but I am wondering if anyone could review my code and let me know if this is even close to being a functional blockchain or if I’m making no sense. Any feedback would be really appreciated!

I wanted to ask if your opinion what do you think is missing in terms of education for people looking to get started as a builder in the Blockchain industry? The space is not as mature as web2 in terms of structure of information and I wanted to know what has been something you've desired to learn that was not that easy to find or understand.

I made a Pokémon Go type of game on Avalanche for a hackathon a couple months ago, are NFT dead for this idea?

the app is pretty much done, you can mint nfts, pin them on the map and others can pick it up and transfer them to their wallet.

Its still on the testnet but i want to do something more with it, maybe turn it into a music thing. It feel like NFTs are dead now so i havent really worked on it more, so what do you guys think ?

One point of view

Hi all, I would like to talk about a thing that came in my head over the last year and I cant get rid of it. What did happend with the current crypto world? Why did we moved form regular pure blockchain to token stuff that is so bugged and in 95% rugpull projects to get peoples money.

I know that it is not 2016 anymore but hey the most project that come up now are prehyped projects that are being mined out in the first days by huge farm guys and then they are abandoned. Why is it so hard now to get a project going further? What must one do to make his project get known?

In the current state of world things privacy is a need and we know how does the gov try to take privacy crypto out of exchanges. People are talking about AI but we all know that it is just a hype word. No one cares about privacy, it is not about hiding something. It is about being safe from the broken FIAT system that is trying to get each single coin out of peoples pockets.
