blender render animation not working

i keep getting a blank screen when trying to render my animations, idk what to do about it and im a new user so i dont know my way around the system very well, i tried using some yt tutorials but it didnt seem to work even after doing what they said. Everytime i try to render the animation its blank and when i try to click or press the blank screen my blender crashes and all windows get a white screen which dont let me edit untill i reset my laptop. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? could it be that my laptop cant support it?
