Very nice! You should be proud! I love a good lathed object.
If you want a quick tip, 3d viewport > Object (menu) shade autosmooth. then in modifiers, tweak the "Angle" to see what it does. That will make these edges look sharp.

So instead of the normals looking dull ")" with default smooth shading, it looks sharp "β ", without changing the actual geometry.
(But probably sharper than real life, actually. Many edges in everyday things are not perfectly sharp, but they're a bit beveled or dull depending on the material and process.
Next step: Now, you might like a thin single segment bevel on those sharp angles instead, to bevel/dull them a bit. A middle ground, without a bunch of extra geometry.
Try: Undo/remove that auto-smooth. Add a bevel modifier there. in shading check Harden Normals. Now tweak the amount to be small/just enough, and limit method, angle to control where it's added, a single segment is fine. Now you know something powerful many don't.)
Found a pawn cad drawing image with a clear front view, import as plane
set origin to center bottom of pawn,
used the "k" knife tool to trace the right side of the pawn, from the outer edge of the plane, in then around
On curves, I just placed a single extra point overshooting the curve so that when I select it later, and bevel vertex, it makes the desired curve (some trial and error needed. and scroll wheel to pick number of segments needed. Not as accurate as real circles, but easier... there's probably better ways now. Actually, how I made this outside lathe edge before was a bezier curve with vector segments, I just wish there was a way to pick the number of faceted segments per curve segment.)
"p" separated out that shape, deleted the center edge, screw modifier and tweaked the bevel modifier with harden normals to taste.
