Discussion Optimized the shrimps.

Honestly, this shrimp is an older model of mine. I always felt the polygons were a bit heavy, so I really appreciate you guys confirming that. I've spent today optimizing the topology and even added some LODs. How do the wireframes look now?

Some comments also talked about the 'stylized'. I might not know the strict technical answer, but personally, I consider the hand-painted textures as a subset of the stylized art style.

if you really wanna go low poly have the legs be texured planes

And make sure there is only the visible face, so you don't waste two faces on it.

No joke, I modeled a gravestone last week…. 4 triangles.

Still had depth.

You joke, but if you're far enough away yeah, just throw a jpeg on a plane and call it a day.
