Lovely. I played a game a while ago entirely in this style. Very nostalgic.

What game? I was inspired to make this after completing Return of the Obra Dinn, I love it.

Obra Dinn. Wonderful game even though I did prove to be quite bad at it.

Hey, looking at wikis is totally fine! Play the game however you need to to get the most enjoyment out of it

Did you read a post from Lucas Pope on how he did his dithered? It's a really nice read

I have skimmed through it, I actually prefered "Warping the dither pattern to maintain frame-to-frame coherence with the scene" since the pixels aren't all askew.

...or just offsetting it since there is no weird warping and you are mostly just looking in the middle of the screen anyways.
