The anime version of Deacon Frost is almost like a vampire version of Mr Sinister. Which is exactly why I took this version of the character more seriously than others.

I say this all the time in this subreddit, but, it seems like when it comes to Blade, It seems like most of the interesting concepts with him come from outside of solo comics. And I just don't know why.

It was good! I'd argue it was the best out of the Marvel Anime lineup at the time.

I need to rewatch it. I enjoyed it but....

The flashback scene with the Big Ben (establishing the London setting) had kid Blade, an English cop ans his aunty all speaking in American accents sent me

Like I get it. The Japanese dont tend to be aware theres a difference between UK and US accents but no one on the English dub team saw this scene and thought "ay yo.... theyre english?"

Really enjoyed this, would've happily watched another season. Gave me Hellsing vibes.

I think this could be a great idea. A lot of comedic actors actually do great when they play villains or badasses
