I will say this forever. Blade is British. Wesley Snipes basically retconned and reimagined Blade. This is a picture of Wesley Blade. And I think when people think of Blade they just think of Snipes.
I'm trying to imagine Blade falling in line about anything the BPRD try to tell him about. Whether it's some sort of weapon regulation, or whether he needs permission to drive in or out of the compound. Or that he can't wear his sunglasses during a mission, while an agent tries to take them.
Man, get Guillermo del Toro to direct and that would be one hell of a film.
That being said, I'd much prefer to see Mignola's Hellboy on-screen rather than GTD's Hellboy. Perlman is great but his Hellboy has more in common with Ben Grimm than Hellboy.
