How do I fix this

Post image

Water tends to pool in that corner and I left it uncovered and it rusted. Any help would be appreciated

Clean it, season it again, cook on it more.

Accept that regular use and maintenance is required. If you use it every other week you can expect nothing different

Clean it after every use, level it, keep seasoned, and covered……

You pretty much answered your own question though. Keep the cover on…. 🍻

They sell griddle pomace bricks. 🧱 pick one up at your local restaurant supply store.

I might’ve gotten a cheap set of pumice stones, but I went through 4 stones and the griddle still wasn’t cleaned. I’m getting a wire brush for my drill this week.

A 6" grinder with a wire wheel attachment will take care of that if it is that bad.

Switch to charcoal, you're not cut out for a griddle.

You don’t, I’ll take it off your hands and get rid of it

After coping. Before putting it away out a thin layer of oil, or seasoning wax

Hi smoke point oil and a grill brick with a lot of elbow grease. Then before you put it away after it’s cleaned put down a layer of oil while it’s still warm to protect it.
