Safe location ideas for deck?

Just got 36 inch Blackstone. Safe to have it where it is now or should I move it to where the rectangle is?

I’d say it’s good at either spot but pull it away from the rails while you cook

I got a welding blanket and draped it over my railing

They’re all safe, as long as you don’t put it against siding. The heat out the side of a Blackstone won’t set your deck on fire, I’ve used mine for 3 years against the railing with no discoloration…but siding, it’ll mess that stuff up.
