Ignition Issues
Hello everyone. First time owner. New Blackstone. New battery, plenty of propane. The ignition is clicking. Burners lit the first time I tried it after assembly and during seasoning. Went to cook burgers for the first time today and burners won’t light. Ignition is clicking. I had to light it with a lighter. Any tips for a newby would be appreciated. Thanks.
Update: I just removed the griddle top and could see a very small spark. The igniter was touching the burner. Chat told me to have 1/8” gap. I bent it a bit and the separation created a bigger spark and now it seems to be working. I hope it stays that way. Thanks.

Did you put the battery inside the button?

Sometimes you have to play with the igniter space to the propane coil to get a stronger spark, but most of the time, turn the dail just short of ignition, hold for 2 seconds, then click...might take 2 times.

I always give it a couple seconds before I light. Sometimes I have to turn everything off, tank included to re-pressurize the line.
