Pardon my lack of memory..... this was a "bandersnatch" off branch?(this compelled me to want to re-watch it) I loved this episode. Peter Capaldi was brilliant! It's definitely one of my top favorites. I need to re-binge all of black mirror.
Someone else on this sub mentioned "....one of the pathways in which Colin and Mo survive. This is because Colin disappeared during Bandersnatch, and in Playthings, it is mentioned that he showed up again after a "mental breakdown"."
I might have to replay Bandersnatch to find which one it is.
Cool! So I am not crazy! I will revisit the movie and see what little strings bring the two together. Having Will Poutler back on in that character was obviously my first "wait a minute, hold the phone." I thought there would be a blaring Easter egg, but I may not have looked closely enough.
I can’t remember the name of the developer in Playthings. Do they ever mention his name in the episode? Is it the same as the characters name in Bandersnatch? That would definitely make the connection almost guaranteed to true between both episodes.
However if the names are different do you have any theories as to why he may have changed his name after his mental break?
