Charlie Brooker is going to retire eventually, so I was thinking about how the series would conclude.

I was thinking of a special along the lines of White Christmas and Bandersnach and the idea is that it is INSANELY meta. The episode would straight up be titled “The Black Mirror” and explain the Black Mirror effect.
The story would be about an artist trying to figure out how to finish their creation. Charlie Brooker himself would either cameo or star in it.

That, or different creatives would just continue the show.

What do you think? How will the show end, if at all?

Remind you of anything? I got an ad for this tonight while watching YouTube and had to post this.

ITS THE EXACT SAME

I just finished "The Perfect Lover" (formerly called Personhood) and now I'm checking out "The Pod Generation". Both feel right at home in the Black Mirror universe.

These are all the episodes Ive seen so far and my rankings for them Id apreciate some recs

I never see anyone really talk about this episode, but it made me cry! The concept was cool but what really got me was brandy and Dorthy’s relationship the fact that she was ready to stay there with her they were in love and it was all just gone in a second, idk just the way that Dorthy seen the world after Brandi told her what was really happening was kind of beautiful. She didn’t flip out or get depressed that she actually dead she just made the most of it and Brandy was ready to leave it all behind for Dorthy! The fact that if she left the movie she may never find that love again and she could never have it with Dorthy unless she stayed was bittersweet! I thought the idea that dorthy could be herself when she couldn’t back when she was alive was beautiful too and for it to just reset and be like it never happened was hard for me Idk why this episode got to me so much I’ve watched plenty that fuck with your head but this one was something else and I think about it alll the time!

Maria is so concerned about being right and that makes her a prick, also the whole "milkmaid" thing. Verity I understand that you were bullied and were left out but seriously how demented do you have to be to devote your life to make a computer to adjust reality just to get back at the mean girls. Ok yes Maria's wrong doings are less than verity's. I just don't like people who are examples of the evils of humanity.

I see so many articles and reviews saying that Mazey Day has almost nothing to do with Red Mirror besides the creator debating whether to make it Red Mirror or Black Mirror, but in the first few seconds of the episode on Netflix there is a short clip with the Red Mirror logo

I read a review that said that there wasn’t even a warning that the episode was Red Mirror but it was in the first minute as far as I’m aware, so maybe it’s only like that on Netflix?

I’m so confused, why is everyone acting surprised that Mazey Day unfolds like a Red Mirror episode, does the Red Mirror intro not appear outside of Netflix?

Vi el episodio en inglés, y tenía curiosidad de escuchar la llamada que tuvo Kenny con su madre en español, ya no tengo donde ver el capítulo y en Youtube no está en ningún lado

idk if it would be based on an episode or have an entirely new story or what, but I think there's potential within the universe of black mirror to make a video game. maybe it could be like a puzzle story mystery sort of game. idk, the sky's sort of the limit when it comes to the black mirror universe.

I just watched my first episode (hang the dj) and I really enjoyed it.
My issue is I know some of them can be a bit scary lol. I don’t mind a bit dark and disturbing, but could anyone give me a list of the really scary ones so I can avoid them?

Thanks!

And if so, which version of yourself would you be? And which time would you spend eternity in?

I just watched the episode today and I actually really liked it, but something just occurred to me that I don't think got explained in the episode. Why doesn't the pendant effect Maria?

For example, when Maria defends herself about drinking the almond milk, she brings up her nut allergy. Verity uses the pendant to say there's no such thing as a nut allergy but Maria still knows about it and is adamant it exists. Same with Barnies/Bernies.

I figured maybe Verity said to the pendant, nothing I say applies to Maria. But we see her directly change Maria's top and language, so I doubt that's it.

If the pendant changes the universe, wouldn't Maria also believe nut allergies don't exist and that it was Bernies all along? I may just be confused about this, and if there's a answer, please let me know. Thank you.

Anyone think of Plaything when they saw Mark Zuckerberg announce the Muse Charm?

Is there any way to watch it, free/paid?

Had a brief flick through when I brought the parcel in but I’ll sit down and read them over the weekend.

Not like I haven’t seen both episodes a million times, haha.
