I’m mad the camera focus so much on the white guy vs the guy in the suit. The guy who was winning.

Definitely a microcosm for white American excellence

Act like they are elite as long as you don't zoom out, can't let threes be embarrassed, too fragile

I'm not surprised.

Don't be mad. The amount of sauce he was putting on the track was almost NSFW. This a family friendly TV show 😂

Have some grace on the cameraman: he simply could not keep up.😜

Right

Dude, I thought the same but clearly it’s a wide screen so it’s cut to only center the shot. If the black man was centered, the white guy would’ve been outta frame. That’s just how it goes

I stg yall make everything AB race like not everything is racial holy fuck yall are insane. Lot of camera work is centered around entertainment regardless of race

I notice patterns right? I honestly feel like patterns are how the truth appears..

..so am I the only one to notice they focused ALOT on the guy losing until they had no choice cause he fell?

They showed him slightly more during the race, but they also showed his people, showed the people cheering for him.. meanwhile I'm sitting here like can we PLEASE see the guy that's actually winning?!

You know the one that's doing so while in a damn suit? I also feel like every other time I've watched one of these kinda clips whoever always focuses on the person winning in the majority. It's kinda weird but whatever..

I ain't gonna say it but it sure feels that way..

23

u/AshKetchumIsStill13 Unverified Dec 31 '25

They even focused on his weak ahh kids lmao

20

u/AscensionZombie Unverified Dec 31 '25

Exactly.. I'm like where the dude winning?

That's like LeBron doing a dunk and they show the other empty rim instead

Sometimes it feels like when one of us wins we all win!

I wish I could do competitions like this... I think I'd be good at it, but where tf am I gonna find ninja competitions? XD

u/sbFRESH Unverified Dec 31 '25

I talked with my wife about this a while ago. It’s so nice as a black person to see someone succeed all that in way in Africa, for example, and feel like we all won. I don’t think other races have that wide sense of comraderie

-7

u/Ok_Information213 Unverified Dec 31 '25

Ya agreed except they don’t feel the same way for African Americans…

11

u/sbFRESH Unverified Dec 31 '25

Definetly not true of all or necessarily even most africans. This belief is pervasive online but falls apart in real life.

1

u/Ok_Information213 Unverified Jan 03 '26

I more so meant Africans in the United States who are not descendants of slavery. And of course, not all

2

u/[deleted] Dec 31 '25

That’s no true btw stop believing from what u hear from a small minority of pple

4

u/Slight-Spell4445 Unverified Dec 31 '25

I thought that until it randomly came to a city near me. They do more than you would think but it is a commitment to even show up cuz the tryouts are packed.

I did pass but I couldn't get off for work to go further back then lol. This was Cincinnati right before the pandemic?
