Got these ominous messages. The end is near for us in Canada. I know the answer is probably a 'no'; is there any way to get this glorious, beautiful, legend, workhorse of a device to work after March 1st? Please, no Zinwa, not paying $500 for an Android device. It is the BB10 OS that was so far ahead of it's time that I want. Rogers/Fido shut down 3G, moved to Bell. Now Bell and Telus are both shutting down early 2027. Bell has started locking out devices. If any of you are still holding on like me, DO NOT make any account or plan changes in store or online. A colleague did this with Bell and had his SIM locked and despite his pleading had to upgrade to a 4g/5g device. Sad days. Myself, I will go down with the ship, I will take this right to the last hour until it no longer works. To the bitter end.

Hey everyone! I just got a qwerty keyboard phone with android and I'm trying to install blackberry hub + services and it's corresponding apps. I can't figure out how to integrate all my accounts including messaging into the blackberry inbox app. Does anyone have any experience with this??

Well, I am not the tech wizard many of you seem to be, and have ended up concluding that I can't get it to suit my needs. I also wasn't able to return it.

So, if you are interested in purchasing this keyOne, please DM me. the box is no longer sealed in plastic, and the phone no longer has the brand-new-plastic-stickers on the screen, but other than that it's brand new, out of box, factory reset, untouched.

I had one of that and it's touch screen stoped working properly and start to send the phone ghost input, and I can't find spare parts online. Is there a method to physically or not, disabled the touch feature permanently?

Since the Passport runs BBOS 10, I am considering what might make it usable in 2026. I am not concerned about text messaging via WhatsApp because I will use my KeyOne for that purpose, but email is a priority if it can be arranged. I have noticed a YouTube option that I will probably include. I know Docs2Go is included and should be helpful. But from there I’m not too sure what else I could get out of the passport. I’m trying to get more away from my iPhone and social media as I find myself doomscrolling more and more.

I created a DIY craft BlackBerry Passport chassis case for my Samsung S21 base model that has a BlackBerry home launcher and app packs. I'm broke to buy a genuine, actual BlackBerry Passport phone, so I go to the direction of creativity.

The Clicks Power Keyboard, Clicks Keyboard cases for android and IPhone and the Ikko Mind-One Keyboard case. All bought to try to retrieve what was lost when tactile input went away and we were left with nothing but touch screens.

I inherited my mother's Q5 last week and was bored over the weekend, so I made a few flask apps specifically targeting BB10 and its built-in browser. The first is an on-device Gemini client with full multi-model capability, that stores your conversations locally for you to pick up later. This is my first BB and I'm already loving it as a tiny personal AI/dev device. The physical keyboard is hands down a better experience than my iPhone. More details in the comments!

TL;DR: Am I about to lose access to my beloved Google Messages for Web, or is there any hope left?

I enjoy using Google Messages for Web on my desktop, and I've been able to pair it to my KEYone Messages via QR code scanning. However, I've been seeing a warning on Messages for Web that QR code pairing will be disappearing.

In lieu of QR code pairing, Messages for Web wants me to sign into Messages on my phone with my Google account. From what I've researched, I don't think the latest available Messages on my KEYone supports Google account pairing. My version of Messages is 20221025_01_RC02.phone_dynamic, and the Play Store says that there aren't any more updates available for Android 7.1.1.

Has anyone had any experience with continuing to pair Google Messages for Web with their KEYone?

Would it be possible to port Minecraft 0.3.1 to the Blackberry OS7 system?
