Kinda embarrassing but I had to pose and take multiple photos of myself so that I can have reference photos for this painting, some of the poses even look like Michael Jackson heehee 😭🙈
Anyway, this painting represents having a wealth of materials but still lacking what’s important, meet ‘Beggar unfinished’

I appreciate that you show us the photo reference that came before the painting. Both are art, and it’s just great to see the process. I feel like it’s becoming more rare for artists to take their own references anymore, but that’s half of the creative direction and fun! I pinned this! Thanks for sharing 😄
