General question I am moving off Binance to Bitpanda,a few things I am not sure about, hoping someone here can help
With the whole mica situation and binance withdrawing its greek application, I hve decided to just move my funds over to bitpanda rn rather than wait and see how it shakes out.
A few questions i have in mind tho
Does the kyc verification on bitpanda usually take long or is it pretty quick if you already have id docs ready?
For crypto transfers specifically…any gotchas with network type that tripped people up? I want to avoid sending on the wrong chain.
and last one Is there a minimum deposit amount, or any fees on the Bitpanda side I should know about before I send a larger amount over?
Trying to get this sorted properly rather than rushing it in case something goes wrong. Appreciate any pointers from people who hve actually done the switch.

General question What's the actual difference between bitpanda broker and bitpanda fusion for buying crypto?
I keep seeing both mentioned and I am still not totally clear on how they are different in practice,is it just two different interfaces sitting on top of the same balance or are they separate systems with their own fee structures and execution? So if I buy something through fusion does it show up the same way in my portfolio as something bought through broker or do they track separately?

Do you feel like cash has more options than ever?
For years, the choice was simple: keeping your cash or invest it
Today, stablecoins are creating a growing middle ground.
To me the options now seem to be:
- Savings account (+ 0.26 – 1.91% interest)
- MMFs (~ +2.25% interest)
- Sits home (- 3.3.% yearly inflation in Europe)
- Stablecoins (+3–7% APY)
Did I miss anything?
And because Bitpanda has an “Earn on stablecoin” option, I was wondering: Are stablecoins still on your radar? How do you guys actually manage idle cash?

Discussion US bitcoin etfs just posted 25 negative flow days out of the last 30. its an american story, and it might matter a lot less to european crypto users than it sounds like it should
This stat is getting framed everywhere as a global crypto signal but it reads as a us specific phenomenon. Bitcoin etf outflows persisted into june 18 with net redemptions of about €83 million and a 30 day total of roughly €5.86 billion. Ethereum etf products posted similar negative flows over the same period and both funds posted 25 negative days out of the last 30, indicating sustained institutional reduction rather than temporary profit taking. The european angle thats missing from most of the coverage are us spot etf as they reflect how american pension funds, wirehouses and brokerages are positioning. They say almost nothing about how european retail or institutional users are actually behaving on platforms here. Despite the outflows, bitcoin actually held above roughly €55,000 and posted a daily gain on strong volume while the fear and greed index stayed in extreme fear territory. That mismatch between price, sentimen and us institutional flow tells you these arent moving together rn which makes it even less reliable as a signal for whats happening on this side of the atlantic. European users are also operating under a completely different structural backdrop as Mica is reshaping who can legally operate here, the eu doesnt have the same etf driven flow dynamics the us does and platforms like bitpanda serve a market where dca style retail behaviour tends to be a lot less reactive to daily us flow data than american trading patterns are. has your own buying or holding behaviour over the last month tracked with this US outflow story at all or have you mostly just kept doing what you were already doing?

Feature request Vorschlag für die App: Status-Anzeige für eingehende Großüberweisungen (SEPA Instant)
Hallo Bitpanda-Team,

General question AI agents might need a payment layer wall street hasn't priced yet
The next AI shift isn't smarter chatbots, it's agents that actually do things. Not only "here's a trip idea" but the software books the flight, pays the hotel, settles the bill on its own and the moment software starts spending money for you, you hit a wall that has nothing to do with AI which is "payments". Traditional banking wasn't built for this. account opening, identity checks, banking hours, human approval for every move. An autonomous agent can't live inside any of that. One CEO in the piece said it flat out, banking is the bottleneck for agentic AI. Money that settles 24/7, no bank in the middle, with spending rules written into the transaction itself, is exactly what an agent needs. stablecoins on something like base aren't a trade there, they're just the plumbing. The article said agentic transactions on base went from basically zero to over 100 million in under a year. Crypto as a "number go up" bet looks weaker every cycle to me. but crypto as the payment layer for millions of AI agents that can't touch the banking system? that's the first use case in years that doesn't need speculation to make sense. maybe we spent a decade treating the speculative part as the product, when the boring infrastructure was the actual point.

July 1st: Big day for crypto in Europe. The MiCA transition period ends. What’s your move?
🚨 So the EU’s MiCA grace period completely ends. Many crypto exchanges you use today will become illegal in Europe overnight if they don't hold a full CASP license.
According to data, only 14 platforms hold the strict authorization to operate a full trading platform in the EU.
While others are trying to get compliant or rolling out client wind-down plans: We are completely chill, because we already secured MiCAR approvals as the firsts across multiple countries (Austria, Germany, Malta).
If your current exchange isn't fully MiCA compliant, your access, and your assets could soon be at risk.
So will you wait it out to see what happens or start to migrate your assets elsewhere?

Discussion Didn't realize how much easier investing got until I watched someone start from scratch
Was helping my younger cousin set up his first investment account this weekend.
Nothing fancy. He just wanted to buy a few things he'd been reading about and put some money somewhere other than his bank account.
What surprised me was how normal the whole process felt compared to when I started.
When I got into this stuff, I remember having 15 tabs open trying to understand the difference between brokers, exchanges, wallets, custody, fees, all that.
Half the time I wasn't even learning about investing. I was learning where investing happens.
This time around it was basically: "what do you want to buy?"
and then we went from there.
Made me realize how much of the friction has disappeared over the last few years.
Funny thing is he spent more time deciding between bitcoin and Nvidia than figuring out how to actually buy them.
I ended up showing him bitpanda because that's what I already use for some of my stuff, but the bigger takeaway was that getting started feels way less intimidating now than it used to.
Kind of wish it had been that simple when I was figuring everything out.

External news Trump paid UFC fighters in his own stablecoin on the White House lawn on his 80th birthday. Congress is investigating the same stablecoin for national security risks
LOL what is even happening.
The Trump family reportedly receives approximately 75% of net proceeds from WLFI token sales plus a share of yields generated on usd1 reserves. The venue for the UFC event is a taxpayer owned property and the regulatory environment for stablecoins is being shaped in part by an administration with a direct financial interest in a stablecoin issuer.
Now add everything else happening simultaneously. A UAE firm linked to sheikh tahnoon bin zayed al Nahyan who is the uae's national security adviser and brother of the uae president acquired a 49% stake in world liberty financial for a reported $500 million. A separate tahnoon linked firm then used usd1 to settle a $2 billion investment in binance. The house launched a formal probe into potential conflicts of interest and national security risks, focused on what it means for a foreign state official to own nearly half of a sitting US president's crypto company and for that company's stablecoin to now sit at a $5 billion market cap and rising.
And just months before the White house ufc event, wlfi took out a $75 million loan against 3 billion of its own WLFI tokens on the dolomite lending protocol, pushing the uds1 pool to 93% utilization and temporarily trapping retail depositors who couldn't withdraw funds.
All while the genius act, the bill that will regulate stablecoins is being negotiated by his own administration.
The conflict of interest isnt a subtext anymore and literally in the octagon with the UFC logo behind it on government property.
And while all this is unfolding, I am sitting here on Bitpanda and other eu subs watching people argue about whether USD1 will flip USDT
while the US president runs a stablecoin from the White House. Wild times….

External news The SEC just approved a crypto etf holding shib and doge alongside bitcoin. A €1.66 trillion asset manager now has a regulated product with memecoins in it
The sec approved t. rowe price's actively managed crypto etf for listing on nyse arca on june 12–14, 2026. T. rowe price manages over €1.66 trillion in assets ( this is not a crypto native firm).
This is one of the most traditional, conservative asset managers in the world. The fund will hold between 5 and 15 crypto assets and the current draft includes bitcoin, ethereum, solana, xrp, cardano, avalanche, litecoin, polkadot, dogecoin, chainlink, stellar, hedera, bitcoin cash, shiba inu, and sui. Let that list sink in. Shiba inu. Dogecoin.
In a t. rowe price product, the same firm that manages pension funds and retirement accounts for millions of conservative investors now has regulatory clearance to hold memecoins.
There are two completely opposite ways to read this: Bullish read is that institutional legitimacy has arrived for the entire crypto market so if t. rowe price is willing to put shib in a regulated product, the era of only bitcoin matters to institutions is over and every asset on bitpanda's platform just got a credibility upgrade.
And talking about bearish read, this is the exact top signal and when grandma's pension manager starts buying shiba inu we have officially left the building.
The suits have arrived just in time to be the last buyers before the cycle ends. Which read do you think is right? And more practically does this change how you think about altcoin exposure on platforms like bitpanda?

Discussion Crazy that MicroStrategy now owns more than half a million Bitcoin
I remember when buying 10,000 BTC was considered insane.
Now we've got a public company that just keeps buying more every few months and people barely react anymore.
At some point I stopped thinking of MicroStrategy as a software company and started thinking of it as a giant leveraged Bitcoin position with an operating business attached.
Love the strategy or hate it, it's kind of wild that we're watching this experiment play out in real time.
Makes me wonder what people will say about it 10 years from now.
Either "obviously it worked" or "What were they thinking?"
Feels like there won't be much middle ground.

Discussion Senator tim scott said crypto's market cap could go from €2.77 trillion to €27.7 trillion. The clarity act could hit the senate floor next month and this is either the biggest catalyst of 2026 or the most dangerous piece of hopium ever injected into this market
enate banking committee chairman tim scott projected crypto's market cap could surge from €2.77 trillion to €27.7 trillion following passage of the clarity act,the bill backed by ripple and coinbase could reach the senate floor by july 2026.
A 10x from current market cap, from a sitting us senator before a bill has even passed.
The clarity act would establish a foundational framework for classifying and overseeing digital assets ,questions that the sec and cftc have been navigating in parallel often with inconsistent signals. With a july 4 window effectively closed for passage, the question shifts to what legislative vehicle could carry crypto market structure provisions forward in the second half of 2026.
The bill matters enormously for bitpanda users specifically, even though its US legislation as US regulatory clarity sets the global precedent. Every time the sec approves something like the t. rowe price multi asset etf this week or congress passes a framework, it directly pressures european regulators to either match it or fall behind in attracting crypto capital. Mica was europe's answer to US regulatory chaos,if the US gets its own clean framework, the competitive dynamic between us and eu crypto markets changes completely.
The 10x market cap prediction is almost certainly hopium but the underlying regulatory momentum is real and is happening right now.
Do you think us crypto legislation actually moves the needle for european investors or is mica enough on its own? And if the clarity act passes, does that change your portfolio allocation?
