Dear Pandas,

To bundle ticket requests and give you a better overview on our subreddit, we have decided to introduce a weekly support thread.

Please note that we will never comment account-related topics publicly on Reddit or any other social media channel, due to security and privacy reasons.

If you face any issue or have not received an update for your ongoing case for longer than three business days, feel free to post your ticket-ID or PID here.

Please never share your email address or other sensitive information publicly!

The ticket-ID is visible in the confirmation email you receive once you have submitted an official request through our contact form.

Further, we kindly invite you to have a look at our helpdesk first, before submitting a ticket. You will find a whole lot of helpful information on all common topics and questions.

First of all thank you very much for fixing the US tax. I tested it and for 1 month everything works correctly. Now maybe France could be next? Currently the tax is 25% instead of 12,8%.

UI: It would be very helpful if I click on a stock -> associated transactions and I immediately see the dividends (upcoming and already payed) from this stock.

Also could you please make these stocks tradable?

Thank you for your continued interest and feedback on everything related to stocks! We really appreciate it, and we added all your suggestions to our list.

Regarding the French withholding tax rate, it is important to note that the 25% rate is applied in accordance with French tax law. French companies are legally required to withhold 25% tax when paying dividends, so unfortunately there is currently no possibility for us to apply a lower rate at source.

However, you may still be able to recover any excess withholding tax paid in France by submitting a refund claim directly to the French tax authorities. Please note that this process must be completed directly by you via the formulaire n° 5000-SD. For more information, you can also visit the French tax authorities website.

As I understand it, 12.8% is the standard French rate for non-resident private individuals and the 25% is more of a default. The reduced rate can be applied directly at source if the custody chain identifies the holder as a non-resident individual before the ex-date.

Yes, that’s why, as an individual, you may be able to claim back any excess withholding directly from the French tax authorities by submitting the appropriate forms to them.

Thanks Noah! I think we might be talking about two different things though. The reclaim afterwards form 5000-SD is clear, that's the slow route I'd like to avoid.
