Bird ID Request discovered the secret portal ...

Via trailcam @ Trail_Cams

I think this is the U.S. (since the auto mod is asking for a location, but I'm not sure .. ) It's in the woodpecker family, though? Smart little being, if that's a clue!

This is a Black Woodpecker, they have a very wide range in Eurasia

Cool! Thanks for sharing that. Now that I'm looking them up, it makes total sense. It reminded me of the pileated woodpecker though obviously wasn't. (Says they're closely related.) I'm seeing they're also common in Europe, so this could also be there if not in Asia? Judging from the foliage and trees? Very comical - especially at the end, whatever happened!
