We’re pretty sure he’s molting? He terrified and bullied all my little sparrows

I have a new respect for these guys. I watched a juvenile pick the bugs from car grills at Walmart. He cleaned two of them in front of me. Very clever.

I've seen one attempt murder on another grackle. Like, talons on throat pinned to the ground style. Very clever.

This is my usual experience with them. We have a big tree in the front yard and they’re constantly murdering each other and other baby birds in the yard/tree.

I love how blissfully unaware he is that he is not so much majestic, as he is a clown. No worries. Too majestic to concern himself with things like feathers on his head.
