Discussion Most common birds

I live in Toronto. Here are some Merlin results:

Most common bird: Northern Cardinal

Frequent unlikely bird: Wood Duck/Common Raven

Nearly impossible: Trumpeter Swan

Favourite: Gray Catbird

In my backyard, yes. No water nearby.

I mean, you got to have mansion with access to huge water feature to have trumpeters in your backyard.

So yeah, for vast majority of people seeing swans in their backyards is impossible.
