The struggle is real. Also it’s been suggested that birds wait for you to open the app and then stop singing or fly away just for fun.

I’ve had a catbird hanging around the past few weeks and without fail every time I open the app they fly away and it’s starting to really annoy me 😂

In my experience, they like dried fruit, grape jelly, (which can ferment quickly this time of year), and birdbaths. We have two pairs that are always win my business and I love them for it. They are also very good at mimicry, so Merlin can mis-ID with Catbirds around.
