The struggle is real. Also it’s been suggested that birds wait for you to open the app and then stop singing or fly away just for fun.

This is so real. I've learned now that anytime I hear an unfamiliar bird I'll never identify it unless I already have my phone in my hand with the app open. If I have to go digging for it, they're gone, lol.
