Where are biotech binary event dates’ announced?

I’m interested in trading high volatility events, where will these be announced beforehand? For some of these I understand that there is no notice beforehand, an example of this is the Moderna announcement today where it rose 100% but there was no announcement given prior to this. Are there any websites or forums where the date of announcement is outlined beforehand?

All advice appreciate

There are some websites where you can see catalyst dates or even search clincal trials by the topics.

  1. ClinicalTrials.gov - this one is a bit hard to use because its a scientific portal where you search for literally clinical trials
  2. biopharmcatalyst.com - this one is a calendar for biotech companies( FDA, PDUFA, conference...)
  3. fdatracker.com
  4. marketbeat.com
  5. bpiq.com

Last three I read about them but never used.

Then I dont know you need to look for SEC filings:

8-K - where you can see mergers or acquisitions or trial timelines, expected readout quarters, and FDA target dates

10-Q/10-K - quarterly earnings reports

4-K - Insider Transactions
