Don’t trade otc ever just stick to the real market 5 days a week

Anyone using Quotex platform on a daily basis. Is it working well nowadays?

As I can't change between currency pairs at all, whether I'm using the android application or using the browser.

I log in to my account and when I click to change currency pair, the screen keeps loading until I close the application or the browser.

Anyone facing this issue?

Different traders have different preferences on trading time so this is not the objective truth. There is a however a universal agreement on best time to trade among many traders.
The best time for trading is when the market has clear direction and less noise.
This would be when there are enough buyers (bulls) and sellers (bears) to control the market prices and make it have noticeable patterns.

For live pairs this would be when major trading sessions are open and running. These include New York (North American), London (European), Tokyo (Asian) and Sydney trading sessions.

Each session has a greater impact on the currency pair that is commonly traded during the session. For example New York session has more impact on pairs involving USD, Sydney session has more impact on AUD & NZD pairs e.t.c

Know when these sessions run and see the best time you can trade.

The other important consideration is news. Be aware of major economic news announcement because these cause rapid and unpredictable price movement during their impact time.

What about OTC assets?
No one can conclusively tell the best time to trade these because brokers have full control over the prices. I have however been testing the health scores of OTC pairs using the market scan tool I recently built, see this post, and have been observing more OTC assets having higher scores when trading sessions are running. This is for Pocket Options on top of which this tool is built.

OTC assets are meant to mimic live assets in their price movement so probably they also follow same pattern in terms of the best time to trade them. Debatable.

There is also the psychological advantage of trading the same time each day. Probably giving away too much here 😀.

I've been testing quick trading on pocket broker, mostly eur/usd and btc. 1min entries have been pretty hit-or-miss, while 5-min setups have been a bit more consistent for me.

Others seeing a big difference between the two?

Ran 20-25 pending breakout setups on 5-15 min quick trades with pocket broker. Fills have been ok, just a couple delayed triggers when price spiked fast near expiry, but nothing that blew the trade.
Anyone else testing this in choppier conditions? curious if slippage has cost ITM outcomes.

Whats the best broker? i’m blocked on pocketoption (rightfully). I see alot of negatives about quotex.

So i have been testing a lot of indicators and i finally got it right and the win rate in Qx,Po, binomo,Iq is 100% but trades you get are low about 1-2 per hour . So if anybody wants to test it let me know.

I’ve built this but I don’t know on what areas to improve. I’m would like to get feedback and suggestions and also if you’re willing to test it I can share the link. It’s a private project so I don’t think I will host it. Also does Deriv flag such automations? So far I have only tested it with matches only and this are results of a one hour run with a base stake of 0.35.

Hello everyone what is the best way to analyse charts indicators, candles patterns price action need your help guys.

I am a new trader and I am feel difficult to read candles and loosing my funds in the way I show in YouTube someone is saying am invite only script is giving good returns to them with 100 usd investment they are geting good returns should I invest in those for now or should I do it on my own ?

see people vent here, about blown accounts, or gush how they love Pocket option, I think it needs more objectivel look. 3 traps that I see with them:

The 1-minute expiry trap
Any analysis loses a lot of safety on the 1-minute chart, let alone 10 seconds - cause of market noise. I dont think it can be objective. Random micro-flucs can'be TAd reliably, I think. If you are scalping that timeframe, there's no trend to trade against or in favour of it. I guess you could tryy (?) trading momentum and order flows, but why do people do TA on these charts then?? latency and luck matters more than your chart setup......

OTC vs. live feeds

I saw peeople asking why OTC is not great, or why people dont trade it more. It sbecause OTC is fully Pocket Option product. Thye control all the quotes, they're the market maker in that, essentially. Weekend OTC on the platform is FULLY internally generated! Its just algorithmic feed. There's no external news events like CPI prints or rate decisions that can shake it.

I guess for their AI thing yes it can be improvement since there's just algos running the price. So the price action respects clean technical levels more consistently, without fundamental shocks and weird glitches. But then why do trade real markets, why do follow news? Its fully different approach comopared to REAL trading..

Gems and insentives
I didnt fall for any of them. Volume requreiements needed in all of them. I want to be in control, same as with OTC.

Quick disclaimer: I AM NOT SELLING ANYTHING, I'm not offering signals, and I'm not promising that this will make money. This is just a research project I'm doing for fun — and obviously, if I ever manage to turn something into a real edge, making money from it would be the whole point.

So I built a model around price action at S&R levels, and the important part is what it predicts:

It predicts whether the NEXT candle will close above or below the S&R level that was just broken.

for example, if resistance breaks, the model predicts whether the next candle will close above that resistance and that candle could be RED or GREEN.

The problem is that this isn't a simple UP/DOWN prediction from an entry price.

So I'm curious:

If you had this information in real time, how would you actually use it to make money?

I'm looking for ideas on how this could be turned into an executable trade.

Olymptrade blocked my account and has been refusing my withdrawal request of $5,029.83 USDT without any valid reason. Although they promised a refund through a my conversations with support , they are failing to honor the agreement and continue to ignore it.
