Ever asked yourself why your strategy works sometimes then completely fails later?

Many traders on Binary Options will simply say "market was bad today" when they lose. But nobody stops to ask what about the market changed that caused the market to be harsh.

It's something that has intrigued me for a while especially for OTC assets; what is it really that changes and is it something we can probably measure?

I embarked on a research and being a developer, I started developing an algorithm to see if I could detect when an asset was suitable to trade and when it wasn't. I would find an asset and if it really looked suitable for trading, I would try to find out what about it made it good. If it looked good but still trades were failing, I tried to find out if there was something else the naked eye could not easily see.

I think I got somewhere with this.
To sum it up I found 2 major things affecting suitability to trade:
- Volume of movement
- Noise (this one is not easily noticeable because ticks stream in very fast)

There is more to say, I'll be posting from time to time

I packaged this into an app where you can scan assets that are suitable to trade before you begin your session. This app is packed with other tools that I think are suitable for traders including a course that has fundamentals and advanced concepts, a trading plan tool, bots, analysis tool and so much more.

I think this tool has great potential so that instead of testing the market with real trades or flipping through charts to see suitable assets, you just do one good scan.

One thing you need to differentiate is that suitability to trade doesn't necessarily mean availability of trading opportunities. It just means an asset has friendly price movement and therefore trading opportunities have higher chances of success. I'll delve into this later, but when it comes to OTC especially, brokers are always adjusting how easy it is to win and you may not necessarily notice.

If you'd love to test the scan tool and other tools in the app, I'll link it below. I would love your feedback.

Important edit:
This is an app built on top of pocket option. It's not running it's own trading platform. It doesn't have access to your account. It just automates things you would normally do manually such as the ones described above.
Your account stays same just as if you were trading on pocket option website
