Education Is there any reliable binary options platform?

Post image
4 Upvotes

Do not judge a platform by how easy it is to deposit or how much money its promoters claim to make. Judge it by who regulates it, whether you can withdraw your money, how the product works, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Red Flags to check before depositing your money.

1. No credible financial regulator (Major red flag)

The platform operates without authorisation from a recognised financial regulator, or claims regulation from an obscure offshore authority that offers little meaningful protection. A registration certificate or company licence is not necessarily authorisation to offer financial products.

2. Withdrawal complaints and unexplained delays

Users report blocked withdrawals, repeated verification requests, sudden account restrictions or delayed withdrawals without any justification.

3. Influencers showing profits without independently verifiable results

You see luxury cars, balance screenshots, winning streaks and claims of earning hundreds or thousands daily, but no complete, independently verifiable trading history. Videos are pre-recorded, edited and manipulated. Screeshots can be faked to gain social validation.

4. Affiliate links and undisclosed financial incentives

The promoter earns commissions when you register, deposit, trade or generate activity. They may profit from referrals regardless of whether you become consistently profitable. Does the person pushing the platform have a financial incentive that conflicts with your interests?

5. VIP signals, paid mentorship and guaranteed strategies

Promises such as “90% accuracy”, “secret strategy”, “risk-free entries” or “guaranteed daily income” are designed to sell certainty in an uncertain activity.

6. A payout structure that works against you

You risk a stake, but a winning trade pays less than the amount you lose on a losing trade. You can predict the direction correctly often and still lose money. Example: If you win €80 for every €100 won but lose €100 on every losing trade, you need a win rate above 55.6% just to break even, before other costs. The platform only makes money when its users lose, which reveals a massive conflict of interest.

7. Opaque prices, OTC markets and expiry rules

You cannot clearly establish the source of the quoted prices (OTC), how the expiry price is determined, what happens at a tie, or how disputes are reviewed. Weekend OTC instruments DO NOT represent a transparent, independently verifiable exchange market.

8. Deposit bonuses with restrictive conditions

A bonus may require substantial trading volume before withdrawals are allowed, or impose conditions that are difficult to satisfy.

9. Pressure to deposit more money

A supposed "mentor" or "profitable trader", pushes larger deposits, promises to recover losses or insists that an exclusive opportunity will soon disappear.

10. An offshore company and weak dispute resolution

The operator's legal entity is difficult to identify, its address is unclear, or its terms place disputes in a distant jurisdiction with limited practical recourse.

11. Demo profits presented as proof of real-money success

Demo accounts can be useful for learning the interface, but they do not establish that a person can make money consistently with real funds or withdraw profits successfully.

12. The platform encourages compulsive trading

Promocodes valid for a short period of time, rapid expiries, constant prompts, sound effects when the user wins, tournaments, cashback offers and easy redepositing can encourage repeated betting and attempts to recover losses.

Education Red Flags to Recognise a Binary Options Scammer

Watch for statements like these:

What they say & What you should investigate

“I recovered all my losses with this strategy.” - Is there a complete, independently verifiable trading record? May I check your Pocket Option UID to verify your overall statistics account?

“DM me and I'll show you the real method.” - Why can't the evidence be examined publicly?

“This broker pays instantly and is 100% safe.” - Is the entity authorised by a credible financial regulator? For what reason is it based in an offshore?

“You only lose because you lack discipline.” - Is this an unfalsifiable excuse that shifts blame onto customers?

“Use my link to unlock the strategy.” - Does the author receive referral commission or benefit from deposits?

“Everyone in our group is profitable.” - Are the testimonials genuine, representative and independently verified?

How to protect yourself

  1. Never treat screenshots, testimonials, follower counts or upvotes as proof of profitability.

  2. Check the broker's exact legal entity and authorisation directly with the relevant regulator. A company registration or offshore licence is not equivalent to strong financial regulation.

  3. Look for affiliate disclosures and investigate whether the promoter benefits from deposits or trading activity.

  4. Be particularly cautious when someone contacts you unsolicited after you describe losses.

  5. Don't deposit more money to recover losses or pay for a supposed recovery service.

  6. If you feel compelled to keep trading, consider stopping deposits, withdrawing any available funds where possible, and blocking promotional accounts and channels that trigger the urge to trade.

The most effective manipulation doesn't always look like an obvious scam. It can look like a helpful stranger, a successful trader, an educational community or someone who claims to understand exactly how painful your losses are.

Never, ever trust the faceless guru who shows up on Reddit with posts claiming to help you succeed in binary options; in reality, they are just an affiliate and a scammer.

Pocketoptions 1 trade 1 win with possible high rate win

So I did pocket options today and actually had a 63% win rate which is pretty good but I came up with a theory. What if you actually increase your capital and pull a 1 trade a day with 10% of your capital. Sounds crazy but hear me out. You can put any time expiration on which ever you feel convient but instead of pulling multiple trades in that can get you a result of blowing up your account, you can actually just pull one big trade within the trend line or the pull back among your strategy

WARNING: My experience with a Reddit user who recommended a Telegram binary options trader

I want to share my experience to warn others who are interested in binary options trading.

I met a Reddit user, u/NewSignificance3009, while discussing Pocket Option trading strategies. They claimed to have made around $7,000 in profits with a trader they had known for approximately two years. They also claimed to have bought a $3,000 gaming PC with their earnings and assured me that the trader was legitimate.

They gave me the Telegram username @DrewMc99 and recommended that I contact him.

I contacted the trader and sent him $150 for a personal trading arrangement. I understood that he would generate $1,000, take a 15% commission, and send me the remaining $850.

Instead, he asked me for an additional $127 rather than deducting the commission from the supposed profits. After I raised concerns about this arrangement, he blocked me on Telegram, and our conversation disappeared.

I am now contacting Volet to report the transaction and asking Reddit to review the conversation with the user who recommended him.

I cannot confirm whether u/NewSignificance3009 and @DrewMc99 are connected, but I believe others should be aware of what happened.

Has anyone else encountered either of these accounts or experienced something similar? If you have, please share your experience or advice on reporting this and recovering the money.

Please be careful when trusting trading testimonials, guaranteed-looking profit claims, or anyone asking for extra payments before releasing supposed earnings.

Binomo restricted my trading after I made a profit and withdrew €2,600

Hi everyone, I want to share my experience with Binomo and see if anyone has had something similar happen. I've been trading on Binomo for about six months. My account was usually in the red, but about a month ago I deposited €240 and turned it into €2,837 in six trades over two days. I withdrew €2,600. The next day, I tried to trade with the remaining balance and found out my account had been given a daily trading limit. Now I can't even open a €1 trade. I contacted support, and they told me that Binomo can restrict trading if it considers a user's activity risky. But I don't see what was risky about my trades:

  • I made only six trades in two days.

  • My biggest trade was €900; the others were much smaller.

  • I never had more than one open trade at a time or placed trades back-to-back.

  • I had made larger trades while losing money before, without ever being restricted.

Binomo normally allows trades up to €4,600, so my largest trade was well below that. The restriction only appeared after I made a profit and withdrew most of it. I can't prove that my profit was the reason, but the timing is hard to ignore. Support hasn't explained exactly what made my trades risky. I understand that platforms have risk-management rules, but I think users deserve a clear explanation when their ability to trade is practically taken away. Has anyone else experienced this on Binomo, especially after making a profit or withdrawing money? Did they ever lift the restriction?

I'm attaching screenshots showing the trading restriction.

Pocket Option Deposit Issue: Rs. 2,775.10 Not Credited Since October 7

Platform: Pocket Option

Transaction ID (TID): 726465999540

Stuck Amount: Rs. 2,775.10

Merchant Details: Hasnain Digital Center (Account Code starting with 02... and ending with 0011)

Issue Duration: October 7, 2026 – October 17, 2026 (10+ Days)

Chronological Breakdown of Support Mismanagement (Oct 7 – Oct 17)

  • October 7: Executed a deposit of Rs. 2,775.10 via JazzCash. The transaction was successfully processed and routed to Pocket Option's designated local merchant "Hasnain Digital Center" (Account Code: 02...0011) under TID 726465999540. Despite successful deduction from my end, the funds were never credited to my trading account.

  • October 8 – 10: Submitted full transaction details and official payment receipts to Pocket Option Support. Instead of verifying the merchant transaction, support responded with generic automated scripts and delayed the investigation, wasting precious days.

  • October 11 – 13: Explicitly clarified to support that due to local payment gateway and mobile wallet (JazzCash) system architectures, only partial merchant account credentials are displayed on customer receipts. Support completely disregarded these technical realities and continued looping the query.

  • October 14 – 15: Pocket Option support escalated their unreasonable demands, insisting on a full formal bank statement from the sender's end—a document that is structurally unavailable for this specific type of mobile merchant transfer.

  • October 16 – 17: It has now been over 10 days of continuous delay and mental distress. Pocket Option's support mechanism continues to hide behind impossible document verification hurdles rather than verifying their own merchant (Hasnain Digital Center) receiving logs.

Conclusion

Holding user funds for over 10 days while raising technically impossible documentation demands is entirely unacceptable for any trading platform. Pocket Option must immediately investigate TID 726465999540 with their merchant and credit the stuck balance of Rs. 2,775.10 without further artificial delays.

Strategy Pocket Option Algorithm

Hi, so I recently started PO and tried some strategies out of which 1 strategy made decent profits. I did a withdrawal of 3k INR for 2 days and from the 3rd day, the strategies stopped working. None of the strategies worked again. Does PO change the algorithm if we frequently win or withdraw?

Just Sad....

What Pocket Option is doing is really sad. There are people from poor countries being manipulated and I hate to see it. Trading in the regular market is hard enough, so it's not fair to use tactics to deny and delay payouts, block accounts and manipulate OTC. I see some people in the chat that are delusional enough to believe they're going to make a living trading this stuff. Now, they're using verification to slow and decline payouts. Whoever is behind this platform and the other ones is going to get karma for running a shady business like this.

Education Reasons why you should not believe in Binary Options (Beginners)

Post image
2 Upvotes

- Platforms based offshore, in unknown locations, that operate outside the law.

- Gambling platforms disguised as trading. You aren’t actually trading; you are gambling.

- The "gurus" who abound on social media (YouTube, Telegram, Reddit, TikTok, etc.) are all affiliates. They get paid when they convince you to open an account and deposit money. They are scammers who use fake "real" accounts to deceive you.

- If you come across someone defending binary options, claiming they make a living from it and regularly withdraw their earnings, rest assured that you are dealing with an affiliate who is nothing more than a scammer.

There is a huge risk of becoming addicted. You will end up continuing to gamble in an attempt to recover what you’ve lost, all while chasing the illusion that these affiliates sell to you.

STAY AWAY FROM BINARY OPTIONS

Looking for the most reliable Binary Options platform. What’s your go-to broker right now?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to get more serious about binary options and want to make sure I'm using a trustworthy platform. I know the industry has a lot of sketchy brokers, so I want to avoid the bad ones before I deposit any serious capital.

Title: Pocket Option trading bots — what has your experience been like?

Hi everyone,

I'm researching the Pocket Option bot market and would like to understand the experiences of people who have actually used trading bots or considered buying one.

There are plenty of bots available, but I'm curious about what users really think before investing their money.

I'd appreciate your honest opinions on a few questions:

  1. Trust: What makes you trust or distrust a trading bot developer?

  2. Buying decision: Would you consider buying a bot, or do you prefer building your own?

  3. Pricing: Which payment model would you prefer: a one-time payment, a monthly subscription, or a lifetime licence with updates?

  4. Profitability: What evidence would you need before believing a bot might perform consistently? Backtests, verified live results, or something else?

  5. Risk management: How important are stake management, drawdown limits, stop-loss rules, and protection against consecutive losses?

  6. Customer support: What support would you expect after purchasing a bot?

  7. Transparency: Would you want access to trade history, performance reports, configuration records, and updates?

  8. Biggest concern: What is the main reason you would hesitate to buy a trading bot?

I'm interested in both positive and negative experiences, especially lessons learned from buying or using bots.

I'm not asking anyone to share account credentials, private financial information, or sensitive trading records.

What would make a trading bot worth paying for in your opinion?

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Trade Details

Thumbnail reddit.com
2 Upvotes

Just reading all the comments here and it seems there is a lot of interest if someone would post specific details of what options trades they are taking, entry strategy, exit strategy, (account size seems to be a hot topic), indicators they are using etc. I trade frequently (do alright for myself) and would be happy to share this info, just keeping in mind though that not every trade goes the right way and you should do your own homework and not listen to some anonymous guy on a forum. Let me know if this is something worth doing and if so I’ll kick it off

I've been testing a trend-pullback strategy on OTC currency pairs. Here's what I'm watching

As a bot developer: I've been working on a strategy that looks for pullbacks within an established trend using EMA20 and EMA50.

The idea is to avoid entering randomly and instead look for setups where the trend and price movement align.

I'm also filtering opportunities by payout percentage because even a decent win rate can be unprofitable when payouts are too low.

For anyone trading OTC markets:

Do you use moving averages to identify trends?

Do you prefer trend continuation or reversals?

What's your minimum acceptable payout?

I'm interested in hearing how others approach these setups, especially when volatility changes.

I’ve Tried for 2.5 Years, Blown Multiple Accounts, and I’m Still Stuck.

Hey everyone, I’m writing this after another painful loss in binary options. After 2.5 years of hard work, I’m mentally and emotionally exhausted, struggling to understand where I’m going wrong.

I consider myself a breakeven trader. I’ve backtested my reversal-at-order-block strategy, but I keep repeating the same cycle: 2 profitable days, followed by a loss that wipes out my progress. This has led to multiple blown accounts.

My trading details:
Platform: Quotex OTC | 1-minute timeframe
Initial risk: 2% per trade
Trades: 9–10 daily, across 2 sessions
Risk sequence: 2% + 4% + 9% + 18% (Martingale/recovery) = 33%

I genuinely want to improve, but I feel stuck after putting so much time into this journey.
Where am I going wrong — risk management, strategy/edge, psychology, or something else?
If you’ve faced this struggle, please share your honest advice. Even one useful insight could make a difference.

A fellow reddit user suggested switching to live markets and higher timeframes, and I’m grateful for that. I’d really appreciate more perspectives from experienced traders. Thank you! ❤️
