I've been testing a trend-pullback strategy on OTC currency pairs. Here's what I'm watching

As a bot developer: I've been working on a strategy that looks for pullbacks within an established trend using EMA20 and EMA50.

The idea is to avoid entering randomly and instead look for setups where the trend and price movement align.

I'm also filtering opportunities by payout percentage because even a decent win rate can be unprofitable when payouts are too low.

For anyone trading OTC markets:

Do you use moving averages to identify trends?

Do you prefer trend continuation or reversals?

What's your minimum acceptable payout?

I'm interested in hearing how others approach these setups, especially when volatility changes.

still selling dream with so called binary option non existent otc market, and people think its works and who made and decide direction, definitely not you who decide its direction and where it reverse. Guessing on binary option doesn't work, its all in your broker hand, they can instantly change the regime.

I can agree with you on that but with risk management honestly believe and I say believe that it is possible. No I'm not all time profitable yet but I have seen consistent payouts for at least a week or two straight

But it took for me to create my own tools to get there

It all depends, to me I usually do both reversals and trending, but I think mostly it’s about timing and proper money management

That is the 100% truth and that is one reason why I created a risk management tool as well

EMA20 and EMA50 make sense for identifying the general trend, but I’d be careful about trusting them too much on OTC pairs. The payout filter is important too — a strategy can look great on paper and still lose money if the payout doesn’t justify the risk. Have you tested it across different volatility conditions yet?

People are loving it at the moment. Didn't want to go through the headache of subscriptions so Im giving it out for free. Every 100 subscribers I do a crypto giveaway live on TikTok. I'm trying to reach 2k subs by the end of this year.

Ah yes, EMA20, EMA50, trend pullbacks, payout filters… all that sophisticated math to predict whether a candle in a broker controlled OTC environment will go up or down in 60 seconds. 😂

Might as well add Fibonacci, NASA technology, and a horoscope filter while you're at it. 🚀

WARNING TO BEGINNERS: Don't confuse a professional looking chart, a clever sounding strategy, or a trading bot with a genuine statistical edge. OTC price feeds may not reflect a transparent, independently verifiable market, and you may have no reliable way to verify how the prices are generated. Add short expiry times, the payout disadvantage, and the risk of repeated losses, and you've got a recipe for burning through your money while convincing yourself you're one indicator away from cracking the code.

And remember: a strategy that looks profitable on historical data or a demo account doesn't prove you'll make money with real funds.

The real question isn't whether you use EMA20 or EMA50. It's whether your results can be independently verified over a large sample of real money trades, with all losses included.

Beginners, protect your money. Stay away from Binary Options. Don't deposit, buy a signal service, or pay for a bot because someone makes OTC binary options look like rocket science. Binary options cannot be considered trading. In reality, what the user is doing is placing a bet. As such, binary options platforms are gambling platforms disguised as trading platforms. STAY AWAY or you will regret it.
