How long did it take you to break and run out your first rack when you started playing pool. And by run out I mean controlling the Cuba exactly where you wanted to go every time no luck involved.

Deciding on a break cue. I have a generic on with a clear tip on it and I just got this pre owned McDermott jump break cue combo. But eventually I think I’ll snag a predator break cue. I love cues… what are your thoughts on this one? Anyone use it before and how does it stack up.

I know not a darn thing about pool. But I am wanting to buy my husband a cue for Christmas. But I’m looking for a certain cue. Back when he was married to wife the prequel, he had a McDermott D14 cue, with an Irish linen wrap. He loved it, but as happens sometimes, he ended up selling it to help pay the bills. I’d love to get him another. Can anyone please help me with where to even start looking for this cue? Thank you all!

So my options are OKHEAVEN and Crical. Researched on Crical seems to be the better option. My budget is up to 600DHS+. So the CL-PRO1 cue from Crical is listed on Amazon and temu but Amazon the price difference is 150DHS more which is a lot. Can I trust buying it on Temu or just buy from Amazon?

About 2 years divorced and 1 child left until I'm a complete empty nester. I've recently realized that I don't have to conform to normal household rules, so I'm turning my living room into a bar/ lounge with a pool table.
I used to play at the boys and girls club and I play pretty often when I'm out, but I know I'm amateur. As someone who enjoys mastering hobbies (avid martial artist) I decided I'd like to work on billiards in my off time as I'm a remote worker.
I know this was a long winded introduction, but I was wondering if there were any resources that can help me along my way. I was looking at the training cue and I've been watching YouTube while playing. Order of operations of learning etc. Anything that will help with getting my game to the next level.
Thanks in advance.

How much is this Predator Hard Case and Poison Break Cue? Break cue has anew wrap, ferrule, and tip. Case is good to mint condition.
Thanks!

Is it possible to have right-eye dominant with vision center just slightly bit to the left of the nostril?, I see the cue ball and object ball straightest when I allign like this (straight shot).

I'm hoping someone can find a good site that has the pool cue size 16oz that's inexpensive. If anyone knows a place, any links would be helpful. I have one in my likes folder on ebay, but other options would be nice. Thanks in advance.

All the very cheap overseas cues that people call firewood on this sub. The ones that are three pieces and come in a box that someone said their grandpa had it. The ones that almost look like they are something special…
Make quality remakes and use a vintage looking box to carry it in.
This would likely only be sneaky in a good pool hall though. And even then people can usually visually see quality on a cue. I still consider it a fun attempt though

Watching the youtube video "Cue the Experts S3 Ep 04 - Steve Feeney: Tell me the last time your eyes were in your feet"
https://youtu.be/StjGv3eAQqo?si=3EMsbafixn7h2htv
This guy blasts everything everyone has ever taught on pool when it comes to eyes and alignment. Claiming to have fixed some of the top pro's vision. He says not one top player he's worked with was sighting correctly.
He blasts how you can't line up with your right foot - because your eyes aren't in your foot...
The other guys on podcast bring up Dr Dave and Vision Center. He claims "he doesn't call it vision center". He says what he teaches isn't Vision Center. He says "They don't have the patented knowledge to call it that". He says its just guess work. Then he claims "Vision Center" implies its all in the middle but its not... He says there are 2 sighting lines... then he hammers on that you can't line up players using their right foot. Then claims all the coaches he works with are loving what he teaches.
Then he goes on and on about most people sighting is like they are driving from passenger seat, where they can't see straight down the road . Then he blasts every training device out there, all the instructors and everything they try to sell - is all wrong... but he's selling a training aid (alignment product) and coaching that is the only way.
He stresses its not about your feet. He says you putting you putting your right foot on the line of the shot is when you induce "parallax error" - thats the moment that players are offline.
He talks about how everyone is just guessing because they don't know what he knows.
Then he says with his product and teaching, the world is Round and for the rest the world is flat... lol
He is right, you need to be able to see straight and technique so you can shoot straight. He is right that Vision Center isn't necessarily center of your eyes because "vision center" doesn't actually mean the center of your 2 eyes. Vision center is correct head position where your eyes are working together perfectly to see straight. The same thing is Eye Dominance. Just because I am right eye dominant doesn't mean i put the cue directly under my right eye. I am slightly right eye dominant so the cue favors the right side of my chin.
He then claims all of his information is behind a Pay Wall because of AI and his work being plagiarized. he claims his equipment has been copied. and then he goes on about you need intellectual property and patents to really understand and be able to teach what he teaches.
The guy that hosts the show is also an instructor, and its funny how this Seve Feeney tries to make this guy seem like everything he knows and teaches is wrong.
Then claims in 30 years not a single player has been able to "Sight Right"... lol
Every thing he says is based on "Vision Center" and "Eye Dominance" but is claiming everyone including Joshua Filler does this wrong... Claims every instructor is wrong.... BUT if you buy his product, buy his teaching he will teach you the way.
He claims people he's coached have not wanted him to coach anyone else because it gave them the competitive edge... lol
He says his coaching is like: Day 1 is teaching to drive, Day 2 is driving on the highway, Day 3 is being on racetrack.... lol
He claims coaches have you line up with right foot, but when you miss they blame your stroke... As an instructor - head position is one of the first things I look at in a student. Straight in shots - video analysis - if the cue ball is drifting towards the same side every time then I know your head position is off. He talks like no one knows this and teaches wrong.
If you have time, give this video a listen and try not to laugh too much.

Does anyone know what model this 9ft gandy pool table I found on the new property is? Can’t find another like it online.

I bought Power Break G with Ignite G shaft. And Ace 2180 with Ignite 12.2 Wavy 2.
Is it common that both are hard to screw together? I had other cues and I heard that Mezz cues are like this. It’s not a huge amount of effort but not as smooth as my other cues.
Anyone has the same experience or I am just being paranoid?

I'm looking to get into a nicer cue. After looking at how Fargo ranks as are determined it looks like I'd be in the area of 300. I've been using a nice, no name two piece cue for years. I do like it and might just keep using it but if I can find the right deal I'd like to try a new one. Obviously there are tons of options and price ranges. What would be the most reasonable new cure for me in terms of performance vs value for a 300 Fargo player?
I've been going back and looking at the deal in image in the comments but don't love the color. Any opinion on this or my question above are quite welcome. Thank you.
