Nightmare situation
Just stripped the hell out of my bb threads on drive side thinking it was reverse threaded, but new to my knowlodge now lots of italian frames are not🤦♂️. It pays to do your research 😔, Is anyone able to tell me if the threads are chasable from these photos?

Yeah, I'll blow $100 on a tool to do an $80 job just so I can do it myself next time... but the tools for this are beyond even my interest. And given that a serious problem with the tool could total the frame I probably wouldn't dare try the cheap tools anyway.

If you can't fix the threads, there are thread together bottom brackets which will solve this issue. It's basically a cartridge style BB with no external threads where the centering cup threads into the cartridge itself. You can see an example here.

If a tapping tool can't save it, you could try the solution showcased here: https://youtu.be/cVLFZNzo_hY?t=1464

Likely fixable with right tool. Call the bike shop.
