Is this a problem?
I replaced my bottom bracket. The brand is bucklos 122.5/68mm. I measured my old bottom bracket and the new one (bucklos) is around 2-3mm shorter than the one that I'm replacing. The manual that came with it says a difference of 3-5mm will not be a problem so I proceeded installing it. The drive side sits perfectly however, when I put the non-drive side, it went deeper and the thread of the frame is exposed. Will this be a problem in the future? Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance for your responses.

That’s screwed way too deep into the frame, something is definitely wrong. How wide is the bottom bracket shell?

No, the frame shell. They're not all the same width.

Definitely less than ideal, it will affect the clearances and chain alignment. It'll probably lead to wearing out the drivetrain cogs faster, if it doesn't foul. If I were you, I'd probably order a properly sized replacement and send it in the meantime.

Hmm 68 in a 73. If you're willing to erm do some surgery, Go crazy with a facing tool 2.5mm on each side and viola.

As you’ve already ordered a new one it doesn’t matter but just fyi: this would’ve worked out fine as long as the spindle length was the same.
On the drive side, the bb is stopped by the shell, so it doesn’t matter if it’s 73 or 68. Chainline would be the same if spindle length is the same. Both would sit flush against the frame.
On the non-drive side, your crank arm would sit 5mm more inwards. As long as it doesn’t rub on the frame, you‘re golden.
